+xHow many players WSW are signing, assuming the salary cap has changed for next season? Dorrans, Mutch, Muller, Ziegler and Kamau gone. Possibly Duke won't return Plus Grozos and Al-Taay So far only signings are Najjarine (replaces Grozos) and Hemed (Most likely to replace Duke) Ikonomedis would replace Kamau or Muller.

+x+x+xGaruccio has left Melbourne City ..and gone to WU! Beat me to it, just saw that. Not sure if it was the system he was playing in or just his form, but he was seriously underwhelming for City considering his performances at Adelaide United a couple seasons prior. Expected him to come back and be in Socceroos contention.

This would be true of Garuccio if he even had half a right foot. Unfortunately he relies entirely on his left foot, preventing him from dribbling and playing out of tight spaces. It makes his game very predictable generally speaking.

Apparently was Only gonna return to Vic when coming back from overseas. So don’t blame your club for this one. Sometimes there are other reasons.

From what I've seen game time which brings confidence and he could have a good year.

He played at LB for a brief period at the start of the season and he was pretty ordinary, then Kisnorbo moved him up to LW/LWB and when he didn't perform there he was benched for Jamo. Tough circumstances when the Captain is a natural LB, but he did have his opportunities. But yeah I agree, with regular game-time he could definitely be one of the best LB's in the League. Just have to wait and see whether Aloisi persists with the Wing backs where he'd be behind Pain anyhow, or if Pain gets pushed further up into a LW position and Garuccio goes back into a conventional LB role.

Kind of underwelming potential move, I though he had a higher ceiling for a higher level league in the continent to be honest.

Same reason Ikon went to WSW, although, I'd call it being a cheapskate.

+xHow many players WSW are signing, assuming the salary cap has changed for next season? They've been busy... at this very early stage.... looks like all Sydney based teams will be quite competitive next season.
