This site is the worst when it comes to images. Was trying to drop a list of CFMEU demands as an image The Shovel put out but it's not working. Here's the link. https://www.theshovel.com.au/2021/09/21/the-melbourne-protesters-have-released-their-demands/Anti-vaxxer protesters in Melbourne have released an extensive list of demands which includes pull-up nappies, more cartoon time in the mornings and an immediate end to daytime naps. Hundreds of the little protesters, many of whom were playing dress-ups, said enough was enough. “How many more times do we have to say that we want another Tiny Teddy biscuit before we’ll be taken seriously? How much bigger do we have to be before we can get nappies with a picture of Spiderman on them like Jake has? It’s not fair!” a speaker told the crowd. The group also called for a new bike and an immediate Royal Commission into vegetables. “They’re a trap. They’re yukky. No-one can tell me what to put in my body,” one protester said. Breaking into a chant of “I’m not tired! I’m not!” the protesters said they wanted an end to mandatory bedtimes. One protester held a sign which read, “Why does Jasmine get to stay up later?” Another, “Josh’s parents let him watch TV on weeknights”. Other demands included a sticker set, a new spade for the sandpit and a bulk order of Coco Pops.

UK: It is mandatory for care home workers in England to have vaccinations and English nightclubs and other venues with large crowds will require patrons to present proof of full vaccination from the end of September. Canada: Canada requires all federal public servants and many other workers (including transportation) to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccine mandate will also include air, train and cruise ship travellers. BC is mandating COVID-19 vaccines for all staff working in long-term care homes and assisted living facilities with other provinces expected to follow suit. From Sept. 13, vaccines are required for patrons of non-essential businesses such as restaurants and movie theatres Fiji: As of Aug. 15 unvaccinated public servants in Fiji would be forced to go on leave and any public servants who remain unvaccinated by November will be dismissed. France: All healthcare and care home workers, home aids and urgent care technicians must have had at least their first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine by Sept. 15 and the government has mandated a health pass in many social venues. Greece: vaccinations are mandatory for nursing home staff and healthcare workers from September. As part of new measures, only vaccinated customers are allowed in bars, cinemas, theatres and other closed spaces. Indonesia: inoculations were made mandatory in February, with fines of up to 5 million rupiah ($357) for non-compliance. Italy: A decree approved by the Italian government in March mandates that health workers, including pharmacists, get vaccinated with suspension without pay for non compliance. From Oct 15th it obligatory for all workers either to show proof of vaccination, a negative test or recent recovery from infection. Saudi Arabia: In May, they mandated that all public and private sector workers wishing to attend a workplace get vaccinated. Vaccination will also be required to enter any government, private, or education establishments and to use public transport as of Aug. 1. Saudi citizens will need two doses before they can travel outside the kingdom from Aug. 9. Switzerland: Swiss people will need to show a COVID-status certificate to enter bars, restaurants and fitness centres from Sept. 13 Micronesia and Poland have also mandated vaccination for all citizens. The USA is the usual mish mash of differing rules but Federal public serpents must either be vaccinated or face regular testing, mask mandates and travel restrictions. President Joe Biden on Sept. 10 announced policies requiring all federal employees to get COVID-19 vaccinations and pushing large employers to have their workers inoculated or tested weekly. The new measures would apply to about two-thirds of all U.S. employees, those who work for businesses with more than 100 workers.

I guess they are both popular sing-along songs.

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/melbourne-must-wait-for-90-vaccination-rate-to-reopen-expert-claims/ar-AAOEhhRA University of Melbourne study meanwhile has claimed a state with the population of Victoria would still need to lockdown for 58 per cent of the year at 80 per cent double dose to keep the annual death rate below 1,000
Epidemiologist Tony Blakely, the report's co-author, said lockdowns could only be a thing of the past once 90 per cent of all Australians over the age of five are vaccinated
However, researchers claim only at a 90 per cent full immunisation rate would the virus's spread reach an acceptable level -about 190 Covid hospitilisations a year These guys just need to give it up already

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xCrazy to think they're about to enter the worst period since pandemic began and she's not fronting the media anymore and putting up a video on NSW health site. This would be understandable if there was no cases, not when your reckless decisions have resulted in this. Where is the leadership? It really looks like a rat scurrying from the ship. Nobody even answering questions now.... Say or believe what you want about "chairman Dan" or "Mao Tse Dan" or "Adolf Andrews" or whatever the haters want to call the guy but at least he has had the cojones to front up to the media EVERY SINGLE DAY apart from when he was injured..... I dont agree with alot of what has transpired, or even the reasoning behind why it has but leadership, at least to me, means stepping up and being accountable for your actions... something the Libs don't seem to have a good grasp on in this country. And without a hint of shame News.com broke their necks to get this up: Gladys, rightfully so, wants to move away from the hysteria of daily numbers. The situation in NSW isnt going to change. For those who want numbers there will be a daily video giving them. The biggest health crisis in a century about to get worse, with things changing almost daily, and public info absolutely critical, and the government has nobody to answer questions and be accountable? Also how does this look as a leader? Not to mention the absolute basics of information only being available on a video on NSW health website. Do you know how harder that is going to be to get critical messaging to the masses? Are news networks supposed to play that video? Going out on a limb here I think this isn't as bad as people are trying to make out. Covid is here, they can't stop it, hurry up and get vaccinated and we can get on with it. My mate sent me something about Singapore and how they're having a resurgence in cases as an up yours to me who's saying let's open up. To me it just shows that if Singapore can't make it work and contain then we definitely can't so let's get everyone who wants to and can be vaccinated and open 'er up.Fucks sake. Let's also see more discussion about getting other vaccines available to the Australian public if (based on available data) they appear safer and also more effective at immunising people against COVID. Such as? The Sputnik vaccine developed in Russia or the vaccine being issued in China, for starters. I don't have it on 100% authority, but I gather that the team who developed the Sputnik vaccine tested it first on animals and then jabbed themselves with it before making it public. If that isn't a sign of confidence in what they are rolling out I don't know what is? Obviously we have to take much of what comes out of China with a certain degree of skepticism, but from what we can see, the vaccine they are issuing appears to be more effective than the ones available to us here, to the point it stops the patient from spreading the virus altogether. Where are you getting your information exactly? The Chinese vaccines so far have been clearly shown to be significantly less effective than just about any other vaccine out there, so much to the point that healthcare workers in countries like Thailand are protesting, demanding a third booster shot. The Sputnik vaccine actually looks quite good. I find it absolutely astonishing, however, that you are particularly wary of data corruption or interference by big pharmaceutical companies yet immediately take the anecdote from an authoritarian dictatorship at face value. As I've said before I'm wary of the CCP and the official messaging they parrot at the best of times- At the same time, if something works then it works. Hence why the Chinese vaccine MAY work, however I'd be more inclined to see if the messaging matches the product description after distribution/ use in other countries with a more liberal approach towards journalism... I was actually referring to the Russian example. I just don't see how you can trust official government media statements from Russia yet so readily question western media. It's fine to have a healthy distrust of authority/media here but that has to be extended to a country that poisons it's dissidents with radiation no?

The little amount of support they had vanished when they protested at the shrine and at the west gate. No unions will ever use sacred ground. And Will shut down anyone who dares tries to start anything at the shrine and the bridge.

sad to see all this guys...... pre covid I was always appalled by that small % how they have behaved on Oz/Anzac days, or the defacing of any landmark but this is showing even more the erosion of our ol Aussie dna. Covid/lockdowns is bringing out the worst in peoples behaviour. Whats doing down there just stinks period but I'm not suprised. Another example is that bloody women travelling north NSW for that reality show not QRcoding etcetc and not doing the right thing period. I just don't get why people like this case getting an excemption abuse the privilidge for all its doing is giving others the reason to follow. Hope she copes it very well come her Nov court case. We have so many failures the last 2yrs and more to come. Especially on not respecting our frontline essential workers might I add.

You can't control us!
Says the people literally controlled every minute of their day. I watched a lot of that live feed, the stupidity and sense of self importance is breathtaking. Murdoch rags have a lot to answer for.
News corp are in a spin now, from The Australian giving watered down and less negative coverage to now being forced to stick the boot in because the Shrine was abused.
