I don’t care about south melbourne, or if god is real or about Lowy running the ffa. Please no sidetracking can someone tell me how to chromecast paramount?

it works at my friends house but at my house I don’t get the option chromecast. I am able to Foxtel go optus everything else just not paramount.

Have you tried updating google chrome app on your phone/tablet. I couldn't cast Plex to TV a while ago and this fixed it... dont ask me why?

I don't Chromecast from a device as I use the Paramount Plus app on the Chromecast with Google TV, which I'd recommend getting. I've just had a look on my app and I can definitely see the standard Chromecast option in the top right hand corner of the playback. Do you see the icon and it's grayed out, or just no Chromecast icon at all? 

Try using the Paramount plus app on your phone and Chromecasting to the TV. The Google TV Paramount+ app wouldn't be Chromecasting, it's just an app for Google TV.

Try deleting paramount app from phone then reinstall? Also try turning Chromecast off at power point then on again 

What are you trying to cast from? I can cast from the Android app no problem, but I don't see it when I'm using Firefox (no idea if Chromecast is limited to Chrome or not) on my Mac.

Is your wifi on? The icon doesn't appear if it's not. Happens to me me occasionally.

I checked this and my icon just grayed out when Wifi was off, then became available again when I turned Wifi back on. 
Uninstall/re-install is a good shout.

Have to ask the obvious - do other apps on your phone work with chromecast - so its just paramount not working?

Is your TV turned on? Just checking easiest option first.

Do you actually have a Chromecast dongle plugged into your TV?

Reinstalling Chrome and/or Chromecast (can't remember sorry) on my PC got me past a casting problem previously too.
EDIT: Pretty sure I reinstalled Chrome like Mono did.

Can you right click on the Paramount+ page or click the 3 dots and choose Cast?

Some webpages don't allow casting to a tv because they have a screen size limit in their contract - but if that is the case you can Cast your desktop instead of the page and get around it. If it works at your friends place then that can't be the issue.

I'm tech unsavvy and this paramount thing is excellent it's your equipment that is fked like someone has said have you turned your tv on ?

If it's a gen 1 Chromecast, it won't work with paramount+

Highly recommend the Chromecast with Google TV. No need to futz around with your phone. I don't think it can handle 4K though if that's your thing.

I have a Chromecast linked to older Panasonic TV via a HDMI cable. I got caught out by the fact the Chromecast attachment needs to be powered (embarrassed by my eldest son there). You will also have to have the Chromecast cast app on the device you are casting from. We also had to name the TV to which we are casting.

I have cast from my mobile phone and from my Android tablet and this is what i do.

Step1
Get the TV setup to take the stream from the correct HDMI port. 

Step 2 
Start Paramount+ on your phone or tablet

Step 3
Select the game you want to watch on your device

Step 4
There should be a small rectangle in the top right corner which will be grayed out. Hit that rectangle to cast. If there are other devices like Google nests, then you select the TV you are casting to.
