Boyle has to be in the team I would have Hrustic in there as well but I think he might be out suspended against Vietnam due to yellow card accumulation.

Be interesting to see which central players Arnie opts for. We really have some strong depth building there. It's pretty exciting. Just wish it was replicated in position further higher up the park and at CB. He really could pick any of Hrustic, Rogic, McGree, Mooy, Irvine, Jeggo, Stessness, Dougall, Devlin, Genreau, Luongo and Holland and be confident they could do the job. Plus you have players like Metcalfe and Volpato who are no doubt emerging talents.

Could be inclined to play Hrustic further up the park (for the Oman game admittedly as he is suspended vs Vietnam) to free up one of those central positions whilst also strengthening us wider . Deni Juric needs to be called up too. If Atkinson can get some minutes at Hearts, I want to see him at RB.

we play in like 9 days, why are the squads announced so late? covid?

I wouldn’t hold my breath mate. We generally don’t name our squad until we’re within a week of playing. With that in mind I’d say we will announce Thursday 

I’m probably gonna catch covid at this fooking game but I don’t care I’m so keen. I haven’t seen the Socceroos play at Aami since the Asian cup

Yep. Leckie finally played well for City in Adelaide so probably saved his NT arse. Nabbout and JMac good enough at AL level but not international. Ruka, Boyle, Tilio would be better front 3

Juric rukavytsya both need to be picked and play.  Maybe borello who is now also getting game time after his injury return.
