+x+x+x+xthis disrespect shown to Denis is disgusting. how many aussies go overseas and actually play?? about 1 in 10 actually make it, the rest sit in youth or reserves squads for literally years until they reach 23-25. He's gone over to a decent club who will get instant promotion. Started off the bench the first few games then forced his way into the starting lineup(this is called hard work not many aussie footballers have it) and has started 8 games in the league now. If they win their game in hand they go top of the table. What else do you want from him? in his FIRST season in Europe??? he's done 50 times better than most who go overseas. I bet $100 next year when he's playing PSG you will be saying its a farmers league too right? lol I assume you're referring to my comments. There's no disrespect whatsoever towards Denis, who is clearly doing really well at a club competing strongly for promotion to a Top 5 league. I just think the hyperbole used on this forum when someone is doing well and then on the other hand when someone is not doing well is unneeded. The reality is he's started 40% of games at a Ligue 2 club. That's good, but not unprecedented. ok show me the precedent of an aussie going over at 21 and starting. please show me. and not some bullshit from 20 years ago, the world has changed and there is a lot more competition for places in clubs in Europe now. went over at 22 and soon turns 23. Hrustic was starting more as a 21 year old at Groningen in a better league. Leckie started more at FSV Frankfurt in a better league at 21. Degenek started more at 1860 Munchen at 21 in a better league. At the same age as Genreau, Sainsbury was starting more at PEC Zwolle in a better league. Mat Ryan started at 21 for Club Brugge (better league). Stensness is doing the same at the same age as Genreau in a better league, and starting every game. Mabil the same at 21. Norway league better than Ligue 2, ok mate. Leckie had to go out on loan from borussia - but ok ill give you that one. Sains cracked his kneecap first game not sure what you mean starting every week, he wasn't. Hrustic was 23 before he actually started getting games Gronigen. Degenek wasnt a start either.

Add to that Denny's club is higher than Stensness too - Toulouse 1537 Viking 1465. In fact many of the teams you are pointing out above were below Toulouse's current rating Also worth noting that Denny was starting some matches in Dutch league at 19 yrs old. It's early in the season, new club. Lets celebrate him cementing a starting place (as been mentioned he's now a starter). He's not setting world alight as you point oiut but doing well in a team that will most likely get promoted.

He's doing great at his new club, and I honestly hope he gets promoted and plays every week in Ligue 1. Would be fabulous. I'm just saying that on this forum success is exaggerated and failure is exaggerated. Let's have a sense of perspective.

Hopefully, we get to see Nathaniel Atkinson make his debut in a couple of hours. Can't wait to watch two young Aussies on one team in Europe.

Well that's a nice sentence to write. Irvine gets the ball and half turns in minimal space smothered by Harzard, Witsel, Guerrero and Hummels and threads it through which leads to a goal.

+xWhen is the squad announcement? Arnie said on Scottish radio that the squad is finalised on Thursday. I’m assuming that means finalised with fifa/afc etc So my guess is Friday

I know They seemed to be cruising late in the second half and would have been good to give him 10 minutes D Juric started in a friendly but didn't have a hand in any of the goals At the very least he is match fit and rated by the coach Cmon Arnie

Behich assist against Trabzonspor
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xDegenek to Demirspor maybe. Saw a Turkish article. They’re 4th in the Super Lig so that’s a decent standard. Scratch that. Linked to Columbus Crew in the MLS now.
