+x+xBrisbane have let go of Wada, Parsons and Olsen. Genuinely can’t believe they let Parsons go. Whoever ends up signing him will have a decent player on their hands. Probably will be picked up by a Sydney club on a wage Brisbane just would not be able to compete with... Could well be true, he might have already signed for someone else. Still surprising since it seems we are only interested in local young talent, you'd think they could get more here than somewhere they'll be a benchwarmer. Surprised Olsen was let go too. Seemed pretty good to me.

Surprised about Parsons. Didn't have the best season, but surely he has something else lined up.

Parsons will be a good pickup but I wonder if Moon is making room for Eli Adams who plays in a similar role, or maybe they will try to get a foreign player instead?

Olsen looked good in the middle of the park but was not a good defender and was absolutely woeful in the final 3rd. he would have been good in a matt mckay role where he recycled the ball and kept play moving but as a winger/wide defender he was a liability

Ruhs has left Macarthur.
Rumours are Mariners and Jets are interested. Could be a decent pickup.

So yeah, you'd think Parsons has already lined something up as they are negotiating with others. Its also notable that Moon is singing the praises of Ivanovic in another article, so it would appear he's the main man up front from the playing group for next year.

Michael Zullo has left Sydney FC. I doubt he will end up at another AL club. Bit of a shame he has struggled to regain his fitness.

Sydney have let go of Kosta, Narsingh, Buhagiar, Amini, Van der Saag, Talbot, Mlinaric, Liam McGing, Zuvela and Nieuwenhof.
The latter two are welcome to do their rehab at SFC.

+xI seriously hope it’s the case that 10 months, Ange asked him to stick around for one more year, rather than recently told him he wasn’t needed after this season. Ange confirmed he wanted him to stay and was offered contract extension but rogic wanted a new challenge.

+xHopefully he gets picked up by a Championship team or a similar level, maybe 2. Bundesliga. Hahahaha So you want a 29 yr old, best player we've had since the golden gen, whose coming off a league title, CL qualification, player of the yr nominee, team of the yr inclusion and goal of the season... you want him to play in a 2nd division?! Lol I say it all the time on here but we must be the only nation that talks our players down! Easily, easily good enough for any league in the world. Only thing he lacked was an engine and workrate and he upped that this season. Would love to see him in serie a where the players are older and pace is slower and technical players like him appreciated more. A club like fiorentina or mid table team where they'd build around him would be great. Otherwise another champions league side in a slightly lesser league like an Olympiakos or Galatasaray.

I can see Kosta going to WSW or WU Buhagiar to either a CCM or Wellington, Van Der Saag to Perth and Talbot to one of the big clubs

Wouldn’t be surprised if Kosta goes to India or something.

So of the 12 released, the only 3 not discovered by Corica are the long term injured Zuvela, and Zullo, and the retiree bobo. But this obviously isn't a corica created issue... fuck he's shit. But keep him please, I beg you.

No ones doubting his ability, we just don't live in fantasy world where Juventus come sign a 29 year old, he's too old and the move to another league and the language barrier will be too much for him. A move to england is much easier and teams from the english divisions sign players from scotland regularly. I would personally love to see him in Spain or Italy but it will never happen.

Could the Middle East or elsewhere in Asia be an option for him?? A nice wee salary bump/payday before he retires (whenever that may be)?? As someone who doesn't really know much about football in the Oil States (and elsewhere in Asia for that matter), would his style, and along with his luck of any real fitness suit him, or not really??

+xFuck I hate the lack of a DTS. It's an unbelievable situation. Boggles the mind. If implemented (properly) it would go some way in making the clubs and league financially viable. The [FACT] it hasn't happened at all for the past 20 and a bit years is beyond belief.

Newy journo James Gardiner has apparently confirmed the signings of McGarry and Sotirio to the Jets. Wonder if the former has an Aussie passport or will count as a visa player?
