Just realised Hannover only have 3 centre backs. Decent ones but Sainsbury on a free would be a dream. The Qatar move is getting press but there's nothing totally official. Rogic is still under Celtic contract but there's no way he'll retract from that.

Just declare for Australia lads If we had any self respect whatsoever, we’d never ever call up Volpato. Because our NT is decidedly mediocre and he’s just a teenager who did something stupid/offensive. Big deal. Who doesn’t/hasn’t? There’s a chance to get him now (especially as Italy haven’t qualified). And he could enhance our NT a great deal. Personally, I’d prefer that outcome to losing him to Italy and heaps of us disliking the bloke over something incredibly petty. Shelve your pride. Conveniently ignoring the part where he and Basha basically tried to blackmail his way into the squad. I highly doubt Volpato ever plays for Italy or even ends up making it in Serie A. People are massively, massively overhyping him. You must have missed the part where I pointed out that he’s young and everybody makes mistakes. That overrides your unsubstantiated and hysterical accusation of “blackmail” and “ransom”. In keeping with the advice of his club side (you know… the ones who pay his wages), he basically says - not travelling halfway across the world to play for the youth side, only the NT (whose members are mostly playing at a lower level than Volpato, anyway). There’s no point in punishing a mistake that a person makes (or may have made) as a teenager in a way that will continue to hurt them their entire career. And from the perspective of the NT, it would cutting off their nose to spite their face. Really smart! An absolutely pointless tantrum which points to an attitude that just would just ensure that we continue to have a mediocre NT. Also if you think that Volpato who has just played 3 senior games in his life will somehow transform our national team, then I have a Bridge to sell you. Who is saying Volpato would ‘transform’ the NT?? He is just another potential addition to the Roos attack that definitely has talent after scoring for Italy U19’s several times and senior Roma side. How many other Australian players have scored in Serie A or other top 5 league recently 🤔 Don’t bother engaging with S007. He has an irrational hatred and jealousy for Volpato. Was it immature? absolutely, but being young and immature isnt a get out of gaol free card either. Imo, it's not a matter of whether or not it's a get out of gaol free card. Punishing somebody for the rest of their career for a petulant action from their teenage years isn't fair or reasonable at all. When that punishment may also negatively affect the rest of society (in this case... the Australian football community), then such a punishment is especially dumb. I like to think that those principles ought to apply to more serious, morally-awful and/or illegal stuff. Here we're talking about a petulant, private Snapchat story. It's just vindictive and over-the-top to say that the bloke should never play for Australia.

Debut for Rawlins in first half for the first team.
Utrecht reserves played Gladbach reserves but Italiano wasn't listed on that team nor the first team. He has been assigned a spot in the first team squad with number 35. It's slight progress but he's got to get first team football somewhere. Liga 3 would be sensible this season.

they barely avoided relegation last year
I was in stuttgart for their third last match. The town went wild for a draw. I asked why are they celebrating? Someone said the draw keeps them alive avoiding relegation. I asked what the next game was, Bayern Munich away.
