+xMaynard-Brewer has joined Gillingham on loan. That's good. Down to League 2 but games are so important now. SPL half season was great then he just disappeared. Plenty of good keepers have spent time loaned in League 2.

+x+xHow I wish, we could have some global big names to get signed on by our clubs every year to stir up attendance, media, sponsorships and general interest. To start with, potentially big names who are on the twilight of their career. Like Nani to victory? Didn't know - my bad. Sounds like a good transfer. Surely can't be another Sturridge. However, I am hoping the Sydney clubs also try to get one or two exciting names. Also wish Mooy was out of China and back here with Sydney FC in the new stadium.

Victory have signed Taleb and Eli Adams on scholarship contracts. I honestly don’t know why Adams was signed since there’s next to zero chance he’ll actually play.
Meanwhile the Jets have signed Rory Jordan from Macarthur.

Boyle certainly good enough for Championship. Given how crucial minutes are pre world cup, a strong League One club wouldn't be out of place. Plenty of minutes available.
Have a feeling he could end up in Eredivisie.

+x+xMartin Boyle's team has been relegated out of the Saudi Pro League. Surely that means he finds a new club prior to the World Cup? He's made some nice coin there. Another local team might be interested but id love it if he got a move to the Championship Hibs have a buyback clause allowing them to match any UK offer.

+x+xRobbie Kruse to Roar. Oh Boy. I'm happy with that. He's a class player, and because of his circumstances when he left last time, he's probably willing to put some hard yards in. Should be good value. I'll say it from now instead of later on, ready? 'I told you so!'

+xReading have signed Dean Bouzanis lmao That's interesting. A stellar League 2 season and was clearly above the grade. It seems he wanted to go up a level again for one last time. Reading have loaned Lumley from Boro and have a young Icelandic keeper who's had some loan spells. Southwood is still on the books too. He won't play much I think. While at Sutton he was doing well enough that some kind of absolute emergency could've seen him called into the National Team squad as 3rd keeper. Long bow but during Covid he was more available than the A League bunch.

+x+x+x+xTomi Juric has signed for Victory. Probably our most successful striker at asian level amongst the current mob what happened to him? oh boy.. I get we dont have great choice but who would you say has done better out of the currently available players? Victory should back Folami, he came to the club as a Striker. I like Velupillay as a middle guy or Winger. Juric will play about 9 games next season, alot like Spiranovic last season. Popovic will play them two when the Players feel like it. Very professional hey. He's no Ange or Muscat.

Don't mind juice at victory at all. If we can manage him like we have with spiranovic he will be successful. 9 goals from 18 games when he was at Adelaide is decent and not long ago. He also seems like the kind of guy who needs to play in front of decent crowd for motivation.

+x*As per some twitter page. Could see errors. Posting as it keeps the discussion going. Australian footballers free agents as of next weekend:- Massimo Luongo- Bailey Wright- Aziz Behich- Trent Sainsbury- Rhyan Grant- Brandon Borrello- Tyrese Francois- Ben Garuccio- James Troisi- Tommy Oar- Paulo Retre- Tomi Juric- James Donachie- Paul Izzo Didn't realise Wright hasn't signed a new deal at Sunderland. He has been offered a deal and I'm sure he'll sign imminently. Francois is going to be interesting. Title winning Garuccio is likely to be in demand. ..and Tom Rogic. Knocked back Indonesian offer.
