13 in 27 is average for an import of that cost tbh and he looked extremely lazy most of the time. Scored when it mattered at the end, but if he bothered chasing his team probably wouldn't have had to do it so tough,.
I don't reckon united would be too concerned if he went. Also from what I hear there's some frustration with him there.

Also from what I hear there's some frustration with him there. Ever since he left PAOK, every year he is rumoured to be returning to Greece :P . Panathinaikos rumours fizzled out 2 months ago and the greens singed a Portugese Xavier last month. Plus I dont think Jovanovic likes him ..... Bart Schenkeveld is the only "Aleague Star" we want at Leoforos this year.... scored a cracker against the scum from the docks last season and is a rock in defence :)

Big loss for them but I’m hoping Aloisi puts his faith in DWH to fill the void.

If he was average, it should be easy for clubs not to sign Lescanos, Margiottas, Opseths and Kokkos every season. Prijovic could look cumbersome at times but his technique is so good.
Throw in six assists and he had a hand in close to half WU's goals. No way they won the title without him hitting form.
I like DWH, but it'd take a change in shape for him to replace Prijovic surely.

Opseth was actually good when he had a manager who could actually use him properly. Unfortunately for him, Veart only coached him for 5 games.

I dont really mean an average footballer, more that the return was average for his cost/pedigree. Agree he was pivotal at the end, but he was also very lazy throughout the season and he wouldve been frustrating to play with

Haha, yeah, I remember Opseth had 'decent feet for a big guy'. Hell, I even thought Alex 'better than Cahill' Kokko had some moments but was also mismanaged. Just saying Prijovic was clearly an important cog in a title winning team.

But after a slow start he seemed pretty resilient injury-wise, played 90 mins more often than not and won games with goals (yes, the bar is low for import strikers).

So, Prijovic may well go to either the GSL or Poland. Neither of those are one of the top 5 competitions, he is in his early 30's and still dreaming. Anyway, the only advantage would be it is quicker to fly back home for visits. Unless a player plays in the top 5 leagues, they are all development leagues. Bon Voyage Aleksandar..

WU better hope there is some decent money in it to pay for their losses they must surely be incurring and to pay for the Tarneit Wembley.
Will be a big loss for them though.

Will be a big loss for them though. Heard they might replace him with Hemed. One in, one out, no sleep lost.
