Mooy looked really damn good when he came on.

I was sceptical of him coming to Celtic, but all of you guys here (Bowden etc) were right and I was wrong. Mooy really finding his feet again and I couldn't be happier to be wrong. Celtic was the perfect choice for him.

Celtic supporters haven’t worked out yet that he is your best player. Mooy was huddersfield best player when in the epl and when they avoided the drop. Much higher level. 

I thought mooy was fantastic when he was brought on. I was really impressed how well he was able to find space and the ball against a team like Real. 

It's promising for the world cup. I'd love to see him alongside a defensive minded DM and another attacking midfielder. 

Fun watching Mooy, Ryan on big stage in CL but next step will be having players on the CL teams that make an impact, not just fill out the groups with no hope of getting out.

Why is there no highlights of this cup game?

I think Celtic fans don't really rate him because he always looks like he does nothing with the ball, but he actually makes life easier for the team when he comes on because he is always available for a pass. Sort of like how we talk about how you don't notice defenders on the park, usually because they are always in the right place and don't have to look like they are busy all the time. 

In saying that though, that passage of play where he chipped the ball over an advancing Madrid player behind him to a teammate reminded me of his prime Huddersfield days when he would just take the piss, all the time.

is it me or has Mooy bulked up a bit? looks bigger than I remember. Might be more suited to a 6 role for us.

Really good minutes for atkinson and devlin. You’d have to think devlin is a lock for the September games now, good to see atkinson get 90 albeit in a smashing. 

Mooy is a quick thinker and has good game sense, plus he has vision.

Hearts lost 4-0 at home last night with Atkinson playing the whole game and devlin playing 73 minutes. Coincidentally Istanbul scored 2 goals after Devlin came off. 

This result alongside Rangers result and Dundee's isn't a great look for Scottish football. Hopefully they can bounce back but if they don't I imagine it will be a big blow to the co-efficient

As for playing with Italy youth i think it's seen as both convenient and good development.
We'll see but i really want to see him,Circatti,Kalik,Devlin and D Juric called up to the pre WC squad 
Even if it's just to give them a taste and have them in mind for the Asian cup
