Roberto Mancini has organised a training camp for 50 young Italian players. Volpato didn’t get called up.

No Roma players were selected because Roma's first team still has to play a European Conference League final and the Roma Primavera side is playing in the Primavera finals, which conflict with the training camp. Bove, Mastrantonio, Missori, Faticanti - all not selected either for those reasons. If you speak, you will prove yourself to be wrong and uninformed as always on this topic. Why do you have such an agenda against an 18 year old following his dream?

Because he’s overhyped as fuck and is known to have an appalling attitude. His agent doesn’t help things either.

So José Mourinho picks him and he has an appalling attitude? Francesco Totti, his agent, doesn't help things?

I’ve spoken to people who know him and apparently that’s why he was let go by A-League sides.

Pretty sure Tony Basha is his agent and he constantly talks shite in the media.

Don’t know why you hype him up so much when he hasn’t achieved anything yet. Dude has played three first team games ffs

Not an Aussie, but well earned indeed. And apparently Boumal has been called into the All Stars team which is interesting, as he's effectively clubless now.

Valpato interview on Optus Sport FB and Instagram pages. Yeah he's full on wanting to play for Italy. Apparently he was keen to play for us a couple of windows ago, but Arnold didn't pick him - good one DH!!! Could have played against Vietnam or China off the bench, but no, not ready for that level according to Muppet Arnold

How’s that Arnie’s fault?

Can’t pick blokes so they won’t jump ship, gotta pick your best side.

We can’t be held to ransom by a guy who has played 3 games in his entire career.

Best part was when he said Roma have the best youth setup in Italy haha thats why they dont have an u23s lol they won the serie C title last year against men.

He does have some arrogance to him but you need that to get to the top, at the same time normally when a youth player comes through and scores like he did they get rewarded with more game time. Christian just got punted back to primavera which was perplexing.

The Lebanese FA just tweeted this:

“The Lebanese Football Association is working to include the Lebanese-born Rami Najjarin, who participated with the Australian Olympic team in the AFC U-23 Championship, to the Cedars team.”

“Carpenters are waiting until at least the World Cup to see if he has a future with the Australian senior team.”

I’m gonna be honest, I can’t see him ever getting a Socceroos call up but I can see him being a good A-League level player.

I could see him playing well at a-league level and then getting into the squad in the back half of his 20's.

Mo Toure was so disappointing last season after such a promising start

I don’t think that’s fair at all.

He made 18 appearances, scored 3 goals with a goal per 123 minutes in a season where he contracted covid which caused him issues with his heart and had his shoulder ripped out of its socket by that thug Spiranovic.

He had a decent season and I’m sure he’ll continue to improve over the coming years.
