we all have our opinions of players personalities good and not BUT he makes a very valid point.
Might I add he mightn't have been my fav type of a person (on the pitch who cares) but the runs are on the board and the type of bloke/player you could count on.

Is there a place in the side for a dominant leader if they don't love the structure and style of football being played? Leadership also requires a level of skill and experience in order to make the right decisions and encourage others to do the same. What chance would a playing leader have if the play they want to encourage is against the code of the manager. It might work for a Jedinak, who loves the physical, defensive role that operates in Arnie's system. It might not work if it is a free flowing, visionary and playmaker who is required to stifle that in favour of ball security and defensive focus.

Arnie shouts from the sidelines all game. Is he not being that leader and preventing others on the field from rising to it? I do not think the sideline leader is a good concept mind you. We do need good, dominant players in each third of the field - and one proper leader further forward than the keeper.
