+x+xVolpato starting for roma Huge tbf. Played 77 mins. Apparently was offside and interfered with play when Roma scored, so goal was disallowed. Don't know if he had any good/bad moments. Anyone watch it?

were going to look stupid if he starts breaking into the starting 11. Maybe time to put ego's aside with this kid plus the african boys we could have our front line sorted for the next decade with actual decent talent. He was unlucky with the interference, could of went either way depending on ref. - Highlights - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqxhGscFKG4

Rawlins starting
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Kawasaki won so it goes to the final day with Yokohama having a 2 point advantage and far superior GD.

WBA v Sheffield United just started. Rogic not even in the squad (Is he injured?). Does not look good for his World Cup prospects.

New coach currently having a hard time in today's game. He surely wasn't going to use an underdone Rogic on his debut but the team isn't working out today either.

Elder still got the hamstring niggle. Dougall, Wright starting. Sanity prevails and Carrick starts McGree on his debut.
Luongo still building fitness but having an coach who played the same position should lead to some interesting conversations between the two.
Holy shit Birighitti starts. Behich starting of course. Boyle starting but no Miller for Hibs.

Birighitti is being torn to shreds on Dundee United Twitter with most blaming him for the loss.
Was happy when I read he was back but I just can’t see him lasting long in Scotland as he doesn’t appear to be up to it at that level. There’s no shame in being a good A-League-level keeper.

I'll wait for footage but read some tricky ball was in the air that he did well to get to but it was still tipped into the net.

Karacic back and playing a full 90. Circati came off the bench in his game for Parma.
Boyle scored in a 3-0 win... but then got injured ffs.

Seems Boyle has an ankle injury. Language being used is one of hope and less concern so here's hoping.

+xBirighitti with half a hand to it but it happens. Move on. The problem is that this was his 4th game for Dundee United, and his 4th straight game where he’s made match-losing errors. Easy for us to sit here and say ‘it happens, move on’ but imo it’s clear he’s not up to the level required, and the DU fans can see that clear as day as well. I really wish he stayed at CCM. He was our captain and was performing so well every week, and was adored by all of us. I hope he comes back to us at the end of the season if Vuka retires / becomes GK coach.

+xSeems Boyle has an ankle injury. Language being used is one of hope and less concern so here's hoping. Apparently his leg went numb just above his shin. Pinched nerve maybe?!

+x+xSeems Boyle has an ankle injury. Language being used is one of hope and less concern so here's hoping. Apparently his leg went numb just above his shin. Pinched nerve maybe?! Here's the Hibs coach's comments “I’m praying it’s not too bad,” Johnson said. “I was very worried it was his knee but it’s not, it’s down the side, sort of the top of the shin. And we’re hoping the pain was contact to the nerve, because it went numb. “That was what ended in him coming off but I’m lighting a candle for him tonight hoping he’s alright. “It’s going to be difficult psychologically for him but I have to say his professionalism has been outstanding, he has never shirked anything in training or games. “That’s why he deserves to go to the World Cup, for that consistency.” https://the-near-post.com/2022/10/30/boyle-injury-worry-im-lighting-a-candle-for-him-hoping-hes-alright/

DU fans not forgiven him for liking a Joe Hart social media post after they got hammered by Celtic. But his performances haven't been convincing

That was a very clever assist. I'm a big fan of Metcalfe. I think he deserves a spot on that plane to Qatar.

+xThat was a very clever assist. I'm a big fan of Metcalfe. I think he deserves a spot on that plane to Qatar. Yep I was gonna say the same. Hasn't been starting but has come off the bench and gotten minutes every week and from all reports impresses. Be interesting who gets a call up for Qatar between he and Genreau tbh if it comes down to the two.

He’s always outshone Genreau at national team level, even with the Olyroos.
