+x+x+xWSW v Jets - 9,000 BR v MV - 6,500 CCM v WU - 6,500 Bulls v SFC - 3,500 AU v PG - 9,000 City v Nix - 6,500 FTB, I am interested in your thinking for the Roar home game. They have had 8,500 and 7,900 at home so far. Why would a game against Victory draw significantly less than both of those? First two games were at Lang Park. This is at Redcliffe. It is also the dumbest kickoff time ever heard of. 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Saturday afternoon games are traditionally horrible drawing for Brisbane and this is even earlier. Brisbane's worst crowd of all time was when they scheduled a 3pm kickoff v Mariners many years ago. Think it was around 4.5k at Lang Park and this was while crowds were at a decent level. Nani will be the only draw card for non regulars. Seriously? you have a problem with a 2pm Saturday as a kickoff time??? It's the typical start time for almost every football league around the world.

I unfortunately cannot attend the game this Saturday however, I will attend a game at any time provided I am not at work. I said, early Saturday afternoon in Brisbane has been shown as the worst time for crowds in Brisbane traditionally. I'm not a demographer I can't give you the reasons but I'd imagine junior sport and Saturday is a working day for many people. Saturday nights are traditionally Brisbane's strongest crowds which points to the fact people want to attend but 2pm on a Saturday afternoon while convenient for some is absolutely not for many. On top of that for this game you have the absolute cluster the club has been through the last couple of weeks however some of that may be offset by non regulars wanting to see Nani. Overall the crowd will be lower than the first two games without a doubt.

+x+xI tell you what, as soon as I saw that 90k+ crowd for an India v Pakistan cricket game, I thought immediately of that much talked about outer Western growth corridor! And indians love football. https://twitter.com/IndSuperLeague/status/1584878066182295552?cxt=HHwWgMDUsYiNz_4rAAAAOnly slightly more than a WU crowd at an IPL game ........ not much love in India these days.

Paramount + is for you mate. All the major sports play in those exact timeframes so its impossible to find any other times to suit you. Need football on Sundays because many do watch it then. Often better than going to visit boring and arrogant relatives as an alternative.

It does get a bit like that. Having said that, local circumstances of different states and cities can mean, say, Saturday 5pm might be preferred to Saturday 3pm, or Fri/Sat nights do best, etc. If there is a definite case to be made for one or the other for particular cities, then it makes sense you try and cater for that specific proclivity. Of course, a small percentage will still complain bitterly about whatever time is chosen.

And Scotland only has half the population of Greece as well. Per head of population , more people go to football matches in Scotland than anywhere else in Europe. ( Proper leagues ) The Tony Macaroni stadium is quite decent BTW , holds 10,200 or so. Still too big for Livy though.

About the timeslot for the Brisbane match, how come it wasn’t scheduled simultaneously with the Mariner’s match when that was the case in round 1?
