+x+xHalf assist for Rogic apparently. If you consider a handball an assist sure lol They all count :D Saw a few tweets about it. I thought people didn't want VAR?

+xMcGree apparently played horribly for Middlesbrough tonight with poor passing and pulling out of tackles. My app says he was left midfield tonight which would be a different position. Thing is, the fans are wrong about his first touch when he has that masterful take on the ball to score some weeks ago. If he's going easy to prevent WC injury then it's pretty understandable. No one wants to take risks now. I did see him playing terribly from what I saw. He also had an 81% pass completion so I have no idea what the Boro fans are on about. I think they've just pigeonholed him as bad and won't change their mind. He often is in position for a good pass in between the opponents but get missed for the long ball or backwards ball option. Boro really don't play fantastic football and personally I thought Hull looked much better in possession. He really would have been better served going to Celtic.

I reckon they'd expect a bit more from a player they forked out a bit of cash for.

scuffed shot for goal and missplaced pass for assist, I still rate Garang better.. Has a much better shot on him.

I’m not giving up on mcgree at boro. His got carrick one of the best mids ever and boro love their Aussie players. It’ll work out for both the team and the player if they can start winning games

McGee I have seen Boro game on the weekend and thought his first touch is poor. Didn't expect that from him. He didn't look good at all.

But then a report later in that thread suggests he is still awaiting scans and it might be a nasty one. Ffs. This would be a huge blow.

Caleb Watts started for Morecambe last night, 2nd start in a row - not bad to be starting in League 1 at only 20 yo

Tete Yengi has won his Finnish club’s Player of the Year award.
A perfect loan spell for the lad. Surely he’ll be given a chance at League One level with Ipswich now?

Mooy clearly instructed to get up behind their midfield but a lot of diagonal balls or slower ball movement sees him not get on the ball when in space. It's not like he's being purposely avoided but it just doesn't really come his way.

Matt Dench was on the bench for Charlton against Brighton U21 (full match for Peupion). Nothing exciting, one to keep an eye on.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Yeah nothing more to be asked for with a loan. Great outing. Tricky part is Ipswich are staking a strong claim to go up to the Championship. Yengi is on a strong trajectory now. Take Deniz Undav for example. 4th German tier then killed German 3rd and Belgian 1st and is now at Brighton. Go for it Yengi.

Some midweek player ratings Aaron Mooy 5/10 from @Record_Sport "Another one who had a tough night. Took a decent ball in to feet in the box in the second half but his tough was too heavy, and it summed up much of his evening." #Socceroos Bailey Wright 7/10 from @SunderlandEcho "Generally kept it simple on the ball and though his side were well short of their best they did well to keep a clean sheet. Wright has had a good return to the side and deserved to mark his 100th club appearance with a win." Kenny Dougall 4/10 from @LiveLancs "Half yard at times in the press and consistently gave the ball away under pressure." #Socceroos Riley McGree 6/10 from @GazetteBoro "Was lively in the first half but still sloppy in possession, pushed off the ball too easily at times and shirked one or two 50-50s as well." Been sticking these on Twitter at www.twitter.com/the_near_post if you wanna check them out without me posting in here
