Early goals for Germany and Spain. Poor marking by Japan in the 5 yard box.

Anyone who tries to have a go at AFC nations for going down softly, better have a hard look at Spain, diving kunts.
2 of the yellows were given for no contact.
Dunno how it was 1 minute of ET, 1 goal, 3 yellows, 9 fouls, 3 offside, equals 60 seconds?
Japan needs to sort out there attacking structures, so disjointed in transition, it seems their CM can't one touch it may be pressure but it it is their gunna have to find a way to sort it .

What happens if both games stay like this? Japan and Germany equal on points, GF and goals scored. Japan through on h2h?

Japan 2-1 in the lead.Controversial VAR decision as to whether the ball crossed the byline.

Worth getting the table up on google live for quick refreshes.
Japan currently first. Spain back to second after Germany made it 2:2. 3:2 Germany now.

Neuer's keeping this tournament has been diabolical. Blessed to have Bayern defence every week and opponents scared to attack.

I hope Japan can hang on!
Competitive wins over Spain and Germany would be a massive achievement.

Wow
and japan really deserved it the way they played
afc scalps are now
spain germany wales argentina denmark tunisia
and even if south korea lose, the five qualified teams have won 40 percent of their group stage matches with at least two making the next round

+xso spain get morocco instead of croatia, not so bad That was the very interesting thing. Spain now on England and France's side of the draw. Morocco are in strong form but I think they'll be annoyed about having to face Spain. Bit of history there.

That VAR decision though... That ball was clearly over the line. It wasn't even close really. Not that I'm complaining. That was maybe the first VAR fuck up I was fully on board with.

+xThat VAR decision though... That ball was clearly over the line. It wasn't even close really. Not that I'm complaining. That was maybe the first VAR fuck up I was fully on board with. I don't think the entire sphere had crossed the line. The bottom part had but there was plenty of sphere still above the line. Plenty of different photos online and unfortunately many with a warped view.

German panel in a bit of a meltdown about their youth development and player mentality. Hilarious with the ROI compared to ourselves. We need to improve across the board but the amount of money and time down the drain from Germany, Belgium and Qatar is astounding.
