Brisbane are the big worry. Macarthur and WU aren't worth worrying about. Basket cases both and the A League would be well rid of them.

+xBrisbane what the hell man? The move north has proven to be a disaster. Poor venue that excludes half the supporter base and the widely held perception of absentee owners running the club into the ground. Tbh, as a long running Roar supporter I believe that the only thing that can save the club is new owners and a move back to Suncorp.

Most of the clubs are doing ok. It’s just Western United, MacArthur and Brisbane that are basket cases. I wonder if Melbourne City would be better if they went back to their roots as Melbourne Heart ?!?!
Adelaide United would’ve got a great crowd if the game wasn’t played at 2:30pm on a Sunday in 30+ degree heat. The locals love the team and Goodwin is at almost celebrity status with the kids after the World Cup.

There is such a great vibe at Hindmarsh this season. Fans really appreciating the player efforts. Goodwin as you say is a genuine local celebrity and every time Irankunda comes on and gets on the ball the place starts to murmur and hum it's fantastic to see. Loving it

+x18k at Melbourne derby and 10k in Adelaide. First time multiple matches have been over 10k in a while Really surprised that many turned up to the derby. I wonder if there was an element of “I wanna see how things unfold off the pitch” type of morbid curiosity? The media was certainly looking for trouble.

Like almost always, this forum keeps eating a lot of humble pie.

+xI do like and respect you as a fan but I was waiting (with that same morbid curiosity) to see how you'd spin this one 8,800 against Adelaide United on a day with perfect weather conditions. Sure, Vucks don’t like Sunday games, but it was an early kick off and heavily marketed due to the pride round promotion. This game probably would have got 18,000+ 3 months ago. This sorta corroborates my point about people going to the derby last week to see what would unfold.

I’d assume pride round would have attracted more people to the game than triggered RWNJs enough to not attend. Would not have been a factor at all.

Methinks you like arguing, hence why complain about a league you don't follow, highlighting an issue in society that you clearly have no experience & have no interest in. Yeah go back to shouting at the cloud & you call me an old man.
