Liam Chipperfield came off the bench for the senior Basel FC team and scored.
But he will probably play for Switzerland

+x+x+x+x+xCircati and Karacic both unused subs for their respective Serie B teams. Gersbach not in the squad for Grenoble. Completely left field and no basis for it, but… gersbach back to Sydney fc I've felt for a while that Gersbach would make a better wide midfielder than LB. I haven't followed his career very closely so just an impression based on the few times I have watched him. He plays a great attacking wing back mind you whilst he was at SFC in his younger day. Todays game plays like a wide mid in any case, well as long as Corica doesn't push his pass back mantra of today. josh sfc, that so he coming back ? As I said there is no basis whatsoever to my claim. Just think he’s skipped around to at least 4 or 5 clubs and never truly cracked it in Europe. We need a LB badly and he’s a good fit. He's been playing pretty much every week in French league 2 guessing atm he's injured don't think he's return he seems settled over there

+x+x+xStefan Mauk Subbed on in Japan and Gets a red card. The referees in Australia far too soft on his antics If you actually saw the incident, you’d know how much of a farcical decision it was. Yellow at worst and that’s being veeeeerrrryyyy generous. Honestly one of the worst decisions you’ll ever see Oh my God I just looked it up. I mean that's worse than any refereeing I've ever seen here. It's not even a yellow. It's not even a thing at all. Seriously people need to see this before they comment on it 2 minutes 14 seconds into video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krPf6mU01oQ Remarkable if that can't be overturned.

not sure why people are surprised Asian refs being giving out those kind of decisions since we moved to the AFC.
You cant be physical as an Aussie in Asia.

Speaking of Denmark, Lawrence Thomas’ Sonderjyske are dead last in the league. Relegation looking like a strong possibility.

King has started 100% of matches since joining his Danish club. No settling in period required. What a fantastic move.

+x+x+x18yr Liam Chipperfield scored a goal for Basel! Trevor Morgan has spoken with him & his Dad says he loves Australia, so I'll keep following him until he plays for Switzerland. cap him, kids deserves more of a shot than Volpato... Liam is actually in and around the first team constantly. I think he is an 8/10? not sure. Not sure about your Valpato call - scored a goal in a top 5 league & he looked like a seasoned pro during his time out there. I'd love to see Liam go for the Socceroos, but he was born & raised in Switzerland - our only chance is if we call him up early or he isn't good enough for Switzerland. I'm assuming if you're continually on the bench for Basel at 18, then you've got great potential. I just think it will be much tougher for Volpato to become a Roma regular compared to Liam becoming a regular at Basel. One week Cristian scores then he's back with the juniors, I'm interested to see what Basel does with Liam this week. I bet he stays with the first team. What I find funny is the guy who replaced Cristian in the Italian U19 team plays in Switzerland playing men's football at 18 rather than playing youth football in Italy LOL - Wilfried Gnonto

Akiel Raffie scored for nuneaton town (on loan from fleetwood town). Ok it’s lowly 8th division but he is only 18 - good to be getting experience against men week in/week out.

Brad Smith started and played 75 for FC United in MLS. I'm J2, no Deng for Niigata. Duke a full game for Okayama. Delbridge a full game for Incheon in K League 1 and Lachlan Jackson started again for Suwon FC.
