Townsend leaving is like having a dose of Chemo. The tumour remains, but we hope it doesn't grow or spread any further. Before domestic Football can move on, we need to eradicate the Tumour. This type of tumour is a nasty little bugger than destroys everything in its wake. The medical name for this tumour is Simon Pearce.

Just be thankful its ONLY the CFG that have noticed Australian Football...... so far.  Once the Saudis get done decimating Europe they will eventually turn their bloated despotic heads towards us too.....

Ch 10 & P + sport seems to be run out of Melbourne, and have a very AFL / Cricket slant.  Add the lack of promotion by 10 of Football, when what was promised was a lot, to this the technical issues P+ have and combine this with nil promotion by APL.... rating  tank resulting in funds cut and needing to sell the grand final... bucket boy comes along...

Exactly. We don't know who's idea it was to sell the GF to NSW, although probably DT. However we do know that the APL board voted on the decision twice and both times they had enough votes to make it happen. So even if DT presented the GF deal to the board it was still the board that gave the green light.
