Seriously, not a single shot on target or genuine chance in a half against Syria is unacceptably poor. There’s something badly wrong with this team.

And it starts with Arnold. 

Behich and Boyle are absolutely woeful. Boyle in a trough. Needs to be benched to wake him up. The players seem lost with this apparent new system. With Strain against England we were getting forward a lot. Bringing in a fresh lower league player at right back for a tournament?

It cut away but Irvine with a heavy touch to dribble out of our own box just there. Geez! 

The positives are O'Neill and Bos and the evidence that once Syria start attacking we seem a lot better with some space. A number on the pitch hinder anything of substance building in that case though.

Ship has totally sailed but imagine having Elder overlap from Bos and Strain working with Boyle? I also think a Yengi Boyle top 2 in this game would allow for much swifter play. 

A lot of poor performances so far. Irvine, Jones, Burgess, Boyle and Duke poor. Souttar trying to fire up. O' Neill has been controlled. Bos had some moments on the left side before he got moved. We really need to make some changes soon. 

Well that was shit. Syria with 5% possession and still managed more chances than us.

Passing is absolutely woeful. Honestly I have more fun watching the Matildas.

Behich has been really bad. About as poor as I’ve seen him (apart from that one qualifier against Japan where he almost single handedly handed them the win). Boyle really disappointing. I guess the injuries have caught up with him. But in general, there’s just no energy. It’s been really rough.

We needed to get O'Neill in but it's Irvine not Baccus who should have dropped out.

Why do we fans have to keep saying the same things every single game?!! Why can't we have a good game for once ? I'm sicked of complaining and yelling @ the t.v all the time.

Yes folks, we're back to the old clueless Graham Arnold we so much didn't love before he had a brief moment in the sun at the last WC. The Graham Arnold who failed with the Olyroos and wouldn't front the press, who failed at two Asian Cups and who just squeaked thru qualifying for the last World Cup. 

What happened to McGree? Dropped or injured?

If we go out of the group stages they won't sack him though

When is the last time Boyle as winger can beat anyone 1 on 1 without falling?? 
Why did he keep falling down every single time? 
And Duke as a striker he totally is useless there 

Syria isn’t the worst and we’re certainly not Japan. Expecting a 5-0 with this team isn’t realistic, but it’s still frustrating we’re this toothless and disjointed. 

The system sucks. Bos had the ball on the dome and normally you'd have Behich sprinting in the free space. The instruction keeps our inverted full backs still after making a 2m pass and then we have two players run at 3-4 of theirs and we're stranded and give them the ball. Meanwhile Irvine is busy 50m away on the other sideline and O'Neill has to maintain the centre alone because Jones and Behich have panicked that their wingers have started sprinting.

We're no Japan we understand that , but what are we trying to do system wise tactics or identity the players look lost or there not good enough.
