That's the real drive here Say what you want but i used to watch womens football pre #metoo and the rise of the LGBTQ movement and no one was watching then these two movements were in full swing they go hand in hand literally 95% of the Matildas are Lesbians and is heavily promoted that they are. It's a marketing gold and right time to promote this as well. Make sure you change the channel when the Tillies come on. Wouldn't want your daughters to be inadvertently converted into lesbians. too late not only did my own children become lesbians after the Matildas game but I booked in for gender reassignment surgery the other day and I myself am now a proud lesbian too I’ve always considered myself a lesbian

The Matilda's don't suffer from not having some of the best players in the world. (For now, this will probably change given resources)
The Matilda's aren't a threat and don't suffer from the stigma of the ethnics taking over. (Cos they are girls)
The Matilda's don't have a hool stigma attached to them.
Sadly I can not see the FFA cashing in long term.
