+xOut of the current mob who do we believe can potentially make EPL? Maybe Bos, Irankunda and Volpato? probably bos, irankunda, volpato, circati and robertson I see as the big 5 of our youngsters. I think bernando has a chance too injuries permitting kuol is interesting since the epl emphasizes physicality more than other big 5 leagues. Will he grow into his body in the next few years?

Volpato relegated
750 minutes in all comps and 24 games. Pretty similar number of minutes to genreau but much younger
Wonder where he goes from here. If he sticks with his side then australia might be attractive to him

+x+xRowles played a full game and Devlin started and was subbed at 74' in Hearts 3-3 draw vs Rangers. Hearts came back from 2-0 down. Nonsense, it was 1-0 to Hearts at half time. Thats just what I gathered from the article. I must have misread it.

+x+x2:0 Oxford at half time. They're just so clinical and Bolton sleepy. Bolton have the strike power to come back but they're in a big big hole. such a shame. Having an championship level rb would help us in that weak position I didn't see the second half but that's a bit of Wellington Phoenix there by Bolton. Such a great long season only to fall short when it really mattered. They'll either go up directly next season or make the playoffs again. They'll be very hungry. It's disappointing and I wonder whether Iredale might seek more starts and a senior role elsewhere.

Italiano scored 2 in 2 at the turn of the month playing right midfield. He wasn't in the team the next game however. Maybe today once the line ups appear post game in the kicker app.
I certainly hope he leaves in summer to play senior football.

+x+x+x+x+xDespite getting motm last game i wondèr if baccus is in a bit of trouble for the 6 role Best to worst form imo 1. Oniell (injured) 2. Francois 3. Devlin 4. Baccus 5. Triantis Nisbet and balard are options there too I'd go: 1. O'Neill 2. Nieuwenhof 3. Baccus 4. Francois 5. Devlin Would have no issue with Irvine in the role either. Agree with 1 and 2 selections based on what I've seen recently. Not even sure who Francois is? I feel like Teague has a better all round skill set than Devlin. Devlin has usually struggled for the Socceroos too. Genreau has never done much for the Socceroos, but could still potentially be playing top tier French football. Macarthur use Jake Hollman as a number 6 at times, even though I think he needs a twin screener in this role. Hollman has the advantage over so many other midfielders in that he gets his head up whilst ball carrying and dribbling ( like Brook) so he can scan the field of play simultaneously, easily enabling him to make better decisions. Jordi Valadon has immense potential in terms of technical qualities on the ball, being hard to close down with his fast handling speed, even though he has not played much for Melb Vic at this stage. There is also Yazbek. Baccus has usually done well for the Socceroos, despite others supposedly playing at a higher club level. Tyrese Francois is a CM/DM on loan from Fulham in Denmark. Was critical keeping his Danish team Vejle BK out of relegation. Had a really good season. https://www.transfermarkt.com/tyrese-francois/profil/spieler/528888 Thanks for that, Quicky. Aged 23 as well. He isnt far off epl level from what ive seen. Needs a season long loan after two shorter loans

Seems like he has been back on the training pitch for a couple months and just needs to get a bit fitter but surely a Socceroo selectee in June regardless of how long it has been.

Having him as DM would risk losing possession and turnovers. And going forward he got no creativity.

+x+x+xMikael Doka: “I love my country [Brazil] too and I think it’s the best national team in the world. But if they don’t want me, it’s not that Australia is second choice. If I am here and the Australian team comes to me first – I’m going there.” [ @aleaguemen ] 4 more years until citizenship would it be? I still don't get the idea we're in crisis mode at right back. We've got Strain who has been good every time he's played but for those injuries. Atkinson holds his own in bigger games. We've got some good young ones coming through plus Deng in an emergency. Italiano, Talbot, Bovalina still only young, plus WSW's youngster Simmons are all making progress. From what I’ve seen of Italiano and Talbot they’re nothing but average

Viking Roos lost 4-1 to lillestrom
Gianni played 88 mins as a cb
Bell from new Zealand played a full match
Daggers played the second half and yazbek didn't get off the bench.
I wish they were doing a bit better with all the Aussies they have there but it seems they have dropped off from last season
