We've seen that with some of the footballers who have graced the world and we're still getting young guys going over there and now the girls are just smashing it.
"Sometimes in the most barren of ground mate, the most beautiful things will grow. And I certainly think that's the case for football."

kind of disappointing that Gauci didn't get a run in the last game Olsen has been awful and has conceded 13 in 4 and a half starts now, hopefully Joe might get a run in pre-season. Olsen has literally cost them points in these last few weeks. Not sure if posted already but Viduka interview on Joey Barton's podcast - https://youtu.be/qx239Vhl9Y8?si=TfwbIP7BMebTcTk8

+x+x+x+x+xFrancois with another assist They play randers on Saturday night and if they win they could steal the euro spot unbelievable Since francois has joined, his team has 22 points from 14 matches and are on a 4 match winning streak. Before he joined they had just 12 points from 17 games. 6 of their 9 season wins have beem times he has started It has been an impressive turnaround This is so good for us - he's a proper #6 & by the look of his performances this season, he's in career best form. Still only 23 as well. I still remember him starting for Fulham in the first game of the EPL season, a couple of years ago, but kind of vanished after that & had an unsuccessful loan in Croatia I seem to recall. Anyway, it's awesome he's turned it around & is definitely one to keep an eye on, especially with O'Neill out. It wouldnt be crazy to me if francois breaks into the starting line up next year, he has improved pretty quickly in a league where the elo is around the eredivisie There are that many players that start in decent Leagues every week and I watch so many games and just wonder how the hell some of these guys retain their places. Lazy, poor passing, missing tackles. That's where I wish Francois would be given a go at least. He may be just as bad but at least we know. Yeah exactly. Watching Emerson Royal the other day for spurs, playing out of position but still he lost track of Salah so many times for player worth 20-30 million it was amazing.

I'm glad for Francois because I found his U23 performances generally stale but there were moments particularly late in games where he really won important duels or distributed the ball into safe areas. Hope he keeps improving.

+xLiam Chipperfield started in the last game of the season, with Sion winning the league & promotion to the Swiss top flight. Good news!

+xOut of the current mob who do we believe can potentially make EPL? Maybe Bos, Irankunda and Volpato? Bos, Irankunda, Circati, Robertson, Volpato McGree, Souttar and Gauci. Ok Gauci and Souttar are there already but aren't playing.

I think bernando has a chance too injuries permitting kuol is interesting since the epl emphasizes physicality more than other big 5 leagues. Will he grow into his body in the next few years?

Volpato relegated
750 minutes in all comps and 24 games. Pretty similar number of minutes to genreau but much younger
Wonder where he goes from here. If he sticks with his side then australia might be attractive to him

+x+xRowles played a full game and Devlin started and was subbed at 74' in Hearts 3-3 draw vs Rangers. Hearts came back from 2-0 down. Nonsense, it was 1-0 to Hearts at half time. Thats just what I gathered from the article. I must have misread it.

+x+x2:0 Oxford at half time. They're just so clinical and Bolton sleepy. Bolton have the strike power to come back but they're in a big big hole. such a shame. Having an championship level rb would help us in that weak position I didn't see the second half but that's a bit of Wellington Phoenix there by Bolton. Such a great long season only to fall short when it really mattered. They'll either go up directly next season or make the playoffs again. They'll be very hungry. It's disappointing and I wonder whether Iredale might seek more starts and a senior role elsewhere.
