Great worked goal
Quality of the match snd skills on display oddly poor compared to previous ipswich games ive seen. Hopefully just nerves from ipswich and that goal will settle them

Two chances for Coventry blocks by Luongo and Burgess so far. Luongo essentially caught the hard shot between his ankles. A lead and now hopefully they can get another.

Hopefully just nerves from ipswich and that goal will settle them I just want Ipswich to go up because I'm really excited as the prospect of the players they could attract. It'll be very tough but I think the chance of a double promotion shows there's a much deeper blueprint there.

When ipswich are pushed deep they defend with a 6 2 formation rather than the traditional 4 4 block of 8 and....im not a fan
It looks really vulnerable and surprise there is a cut back with no one in the 2nd line to pressure the shot and they mearly concede

Header forces a diving save at the end nearly 2 zip up
They concede so many chances to pullbacks because they commit so many numbers to the last line

FFS 1:1. Ipswich hit the bar earlier. It's a nicely worked goal by Coventry where they draw Burgess out and the space is presented.

Get in! Burgess fights for it in the box and smashes it with his left. 2:1!

11 added due to a ref radio complication. Coventry trying to spoil the party.

Nervous viewing but ipswich hold on. 1 point away from the epl
This weekend could see 3 osaussie teams promoted with ipswich needing 1, st pauli needing 3 and parma needing 3 assuming their huge gd advantage protects them

What a massively important with for Ipswich. A much better chance at going up this weekend. A point or matching Leeds result will be enough.

Very exciting, really hope they go up & they keep Luongo & he gets some starts in the Premier league. Double promotion for Ipswich if they succeed, up from League one last year.

Yeah it'd be great to see Luongo play in the Prem after all these years & hopefully Burgess retains his spot as well, with the NT in mind.

Throughout the whole season we've had many teams fighting promotion and a few fighting relegation too. This weekend could see 5 Aussies promoted into top 5 leagues.

Get the feeling Luongo might come back to the national team once promoted. Less matches in the Premier league and likely Ipswich will strengthen also I think he'll play less matches than this season. Anyway here's hoping. Very exciting to see another 5 aussies in the top 5 leagues next season in addition to deni genreau and Mo Toure.

Fewer games but it is awkward to leave to avoid travel then want to come back when it suits. Understandable but a delicate matter. Perhaps something that should be explored more by national teams. I anticipate the French based players will move on or not play. Belgium is a good shout for Genreau.

Great win for Mass and Cam. Mass just gliding around the pitch atm you can see why so many coaches thought he was EPL bound. So happy he will porbably get the chance to play in the Prem.
Actually don't mind the idea of established roos taking breaks from national teams if stuck in rut/poor form/struggling to get into starting 11. But you would have to take it case by case. Guys like Luongo and Langerak benefited from it imo.

Coming up to naming our AA of the season. Some in with a shout. I'll also name the disappointment of the season. I can't be the only one who gets annoyed at awards being given before the entire season and big games have been played yet which can add credit.

Ipswich host Huddersfield on the final day. Huddersfield are virtually down needing a win and double digital GD turnaround. Will they even bother to go for it? If Huddersfield attack like crazy, which they have to, they likely leave themselves massively exposed. The issue is, a 1:0 Huddersfield win and a Leeds win means Ipswich miss out. Ipswich have to be weary and maybe Southampton will add some damage.

Very important game for Circati & Parma in a few hours against a relegation battler. Win it & they're promoted. A draw will pretty much seal it as well, with a far superior GD than the 3rd placed team.

Great news. Venice lost with a penalty in the final seconds so Parma now 6 points with superior GD and play right now. Virtually up barring a disaster over 3 games. Circati is starting.

+xCircati promoted Congrats I think if he holds his starting spot he will be our 2nd youngest first choice in the big 5 after kewell? Sensational news to wake up to. He's been ultra consistent all season & HAS to be included in the squad for the WC qualifiers in June.
