He was very good today and will get the chance but I'd think Ryan to Kiel would be a solid move. He's on a free. Bundesliga 2 would provide plenty of football too.
Players got international break and holiday but I hope for news sooner on moves.

I think Japan would be a great option for Ryan but if he prefers to stay in Europe then, apart from Kiel, one of the better clubs in Switzerland or Austria could also suit.

Not exactly but it's just about the coach believing in him and exploiting his strengths. If it's bench cameos to chase a game it's just so tough to shine.

+xReports this afternoon that AZ have offered Ryan a 1 year extension Maty also apparently has offers on the table from Celtic and Ipswich. An interesting choice for Maty: AZ = Europa League + Stability Celtic = Champions League + Easy silverware, but overreacting SPL fans Ipswich = Premier League

Lol.. some of the moves you guys on here recommend are laughable! We must be the only set of fans that talk our players down rather than up ! Matty Ryan will not be playing japan, bundi 2, Swiss league or Austrian league (unless its Red bull Salzburg)

An interesting choice for Maty: AZ = Europa League + Stability Celtic = Champions League + Easy silverware, but overreacting SPL fans Ipswich = Premier League Celtic is tailor made for Ryan. Should have gone there when Ange tried to buy him. Rodgers prefers sweeper keepers and Celtic have a lot of the ball playing a high line, on a big pitch. Ryan will suit well

Is he better than hrustic who was good enough to get into a squad rotation but not good enough to hold his spot?

Matty Ryan will not be playing japan, bundi 2, Swiss league or Austrian league (unless its Red bull Salzburg) These Leagues are only good if you're at the top sides. Bundesliga 2 is still generally higher than most of the Eredivisie not to mention the scale of clubs down there now dwarfs the Bundesliga. Ipswich would be tricky to break into but they have a long campaign and need depth. Celtic has become a bit predictable and stale post Ange. Too much Celtic the past few years. A comfort move but it's pretty drab Euro nights aside. AZ seemingly don't feel ready to play the new young keeper all the time or Ryan could get benched and then they have the comfort of the safety net.

There was the issue of playing him deep and he struggled. Law of averages though that I think he'd be better given an extended run in an advanced or wider position. The money should be there that McGree could go to a number of clubs. If Bochum survive he'd give that team a shot in the arm. Mainz and Bremen would be good shouts. Heidenheim play an aggressive attacking style that would complement his play. Freiburg post Streich is going to be interesting.

Hrustic has a better shot and cross but everything else Mcgree is better

Brisbane signed Ben Warland. Not really a loss of us with Kikianis breaking into the first team.

Bos going great in Belgium. The fact that Hannover played an entire half of the season with a right back at left back frustrates me. The way Hannover play suits Bos. I hope he steers clear of Italy but I think it should be Belgium or Bundesliga 2 for the next 2 years then the big 5 jump.

Brisbane are set to sign 21 year old American defender Marcus Ferkranus. He is a former US U-20 international but also has Australian citizenship so won't take up a visa spot and is eligible for the Socceroos.

+xKeanu Baccus has signed for Mansfield Town. They win promotion from League Two this season. Wow that really is something. They play very aggressive football. He'll be right there. As Mansfield spent so many seasons in League 2 it's hard to imagine the finally up and maybe even tarnishes Baccus's standing a bit. I don't think they'll go down however as they're fairly poised.

Surely he could have done better than league 1.
Surely our players are valued over in the continent these days to warrant better moves.

+xSurely he could have done better than league 1. Surely our players are valued over in the continent these days to warrant better moves. With the way Baccus has been on late I think it's a good dose of reality and he can set new goals and try to build up. Despite being an Arnold favourite, we have better mids coming through and should he fade away, we're going to be better off anyway.

Maybe Meulensteen could have used he’s Dutch connections and found him a club in holland. Its a underwhelming move and it better pay off for him otherwise someone else could take he’s spot in the Socceroos team.
