+x+xKeanu Baccus moves to League 1 Mansfield Town. Bad news! another Socceroos in league 1. Id rather see him in Denmark/Swiss/Belgium/Austria/Portugal Dear me that's a depressing move. Imagine 20 yrs ago our starting socceroos defensive midfielder moved to Manfield Town in his prime ☹️ It'll be alright. Mansfield clearer wanted him to bolster their survival chances. He's had an attitude of late so some rough League 1 being the underdog should make him driven. Grazor rightly pointed out League 1 had 12 teams to make a certain quantity of passes per game while SPL only had 4 clubs. The football is getting better there.

His priority should be top flight in any league in Europe, not Division 3. Even for Indonesia or Thailand team that's bad. League 1 is worse than K or J league. I wish Luongo will change his mind and back in the Socceroos. Can't rely on the guy playing in Division 3 to carry us to the world cup. I'm glad Portsmouth guys got out of there.

He's not good enough for anything that high. His game suffers because of a casual attitude with poor passing and bad positioning. At the Asian Cup he just passed from side to side

Vincent Kompany confirmed as Bayern new head-coach. Wonder how this bodes for Irankunda's inclusion and development. Kompany is known to play it safe.

Very interesting and something I'd completely overlooked. Mental summer with Ipswich manager heavily touted but the owners flying over to break a deal to have him stay. Add Brighton with Peupion and how their manager will see him. Another big one is Chelsea want Maresca and that can only be better for Souttar. I'd suspect they'd drop Vestergard at some point and buy someone else. Kompany did play a lot of younger talent at Burnley so just maybe he'll like what he sees with Irankunda and ease him in. Not expecting it though.

Lol you don't seriously think that Bayern signed someone from the A-league to play in their first team. The league is a joke the worst standard it's been ever (including season one), hence why we only made the Asian cup QF in an extremely weak era of Asian football (whoever disagrees with this has had a cruel trick played on them). Irankunda is essentially just the best out of a bad bunch. Don't get me wrong best of luck to him and hopefully he goes on and has a good career, but if you think that Bayern signed a player who scored like 6 goals in a bottom 10 league in the world to their first team and care about his development at all, you are honestly seriously deluded.

Top class off the ball and passable on it. I think he has a good chance of making it at fulham or in the big 5

The rest of our midfielders have a much better all round package. If anything Baccus should be at right back as an inverted one if Arnold persists with that. Soon enough I hope we're playing Robertson, O'Neill and Nieuwenhoff among others.

Noa Skoko came on at HT in the last game of the season for Hajduk Split. Stats not great on FotMob, but it's only his 3rd game in Croatia's top flight at 18. I'm hoping he's one of these players who are very good (Volpato, Circati, Robertson), but not quite good enough to make the the senior Croatian NT & he ends up playing for us. FA are apparently keeping close tabs on him.

Leeds Southampton in an hour. Any preferences? Leeds just add a lot more to the EPL currently. I feel Southampton would be too weak even with transfers.
With Kompany gone I hope Burnley just fizzle away.
