Interesting if you go back the argument by the clubs was the A-League was worth way more than the national teams.... It was never the case...

There are ways they could co-operate, things like a common HR, Accountant, etc...

JJ, seems from what we can see, seems to be highly organised and focused who has appointed only a few, but very clever people to support him... he is slow but methodical ....

One thing he appears to have that APL don't is respect by the media and whether this is important or not is subjective and would depend on FA involvement.

I can't see things going back as they were but I can see some funding with strings attached.

I mean it's a good idea - but sorry, this is a case of you reap what you sow. What's the catchcall of Australian Football? "I told you so?" Seems like Lowy caught onto that...

I don't think there's going to be much support from the FA, until they maybe pull an India and merge the A-League and the NSD together a few years down the track..

I thought the A-league men's league was as valuable as the Socceroos tv rights.

Socceroos help us get into tournaments like Asian cup and world cup.

A-league men's sides developed young players to play for the national side

Not in this country's culture unfortunately. Not yet, at least.
