Over two years or maybe three years of Paramount now. I'm just looking at the app they have some good original shows but the rest is bare bones with old movies and niche tv shows. Is there any idea why they were created?

The offerings are different from country to country and they're just another player in the streaming battle.

Is there any idea why they were created? When it comes to watching TV shows via streaming, I would say I watch the most shows on Netflix, but Paramount is 2. I like the FBI series. But the best show they have at the moment is Mayor of Kingstown. many of the shows that should be on Paramount, but is on other streaming services due to contracts in Australia. Yellowstone being the obvious example.. but their spin offs are on Paramount. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Paramount have one of the higher subscriptions numbers out of all the streaming services? I heard 1.5 million...

Prime Video is second, but that is mainly because you get it with a Amazon Prime subscription. Paramount is behind all the bigger ones.

I have Amazon, mainly for the free postage. Not much quality TV shows. Reacher was OK. +xThey have good shows like Tulsa king and yellow jackets as well even South Park then the rest is crap I can't imagine having it without the a league Tulsa King was good to begin with, but something must have happened during filming as they rushed the ending and it turned to shit.

Can also get a few subscriptions through Prime (such as Paramount and beIN) - I wonder if these are counted as subscribers to Paramount?

Second season is coming in September I have way too many shows across way too many streaming platforms at the moment. Sport is a good way to keep people subscribed during off-season of TV shows now, because seasons tend to be longer. Coming up for me: Netflix - Cobra Kai season 6 (first drop of 3) - 18 July Netflix (I hope) - Snowpiercer season 4 - 22 July Stan - From season 3 - "Spring (Fall) 2024" Disney - Only Murders in the Building season 4 - 28 August Disney doesn't have anything around to offer for sport (that may change soon methinks, because of ESPN tie-ins one day maybe?) Netflix is the same, but it was thrown in with my internet bundle. I'm assuming WWE is heading that way in 2026 though (as it's heading there in the US in January) Stan comes with European football, and every FIA World Championship outside of Formula 1 (Endurance, Rally and Electric) so is an easy sell for me. Paramount... well... there's really only Survivor and Impractical Jokers for me (the US one) outside of the football season.

You nailed it - got many other streams that suits our viewing so much is triplicated from one and the other therefore paramount is pretty useless for us. The most I’ve used it is for an aleague game more than anything else.

Yep and the main and only thing being bang for buck but tbh that 120bucks be more fun on a pub feed and a few beers with the Mrs and I wouldn’t miss paramount one bit.
