Danish season starts July 19. They're real early birds in Europe.

Just occurred to me that Aalborg were in the 2nd division last season for the first time since 1986 but gained immediate promotion back to the top flight.

A dream debut for an Aussie in South Korea 👏🇦🇺🇰🇷

A massive shoutout to former A-League Men's player Lachie Wales who had a debut to remember for his Gyeongnam FC in the South Korean second tier!

The 26-year-old started and played 76 minutes for Gyeongnam in a 4-1 away win over Seongnam as he scored one goal and got two assists to his name! ⚽🅰️🅰️

It was a big result for Wales' side as Gyeongnam lift themselves from the bottom of the K League 2 ladder.

Okoli joins Leicester on a 5 year deal after a successful Serie A loan away from Atalanta last season. Fees has links away. I think Souttar will at least begin the season with Leicester but if game time is scarce he's got to force a loan by deadline day. 

Aalborg have moved the Serbian striker on. They'll recruit more surely but that's just Iredale and Helenius up top. I imagine they'll play wingers as they've got quite a few. Iredale's versatility doesn't hurt. Really exciting.

Goodwin got shin splints in the Netherlands while training on astroturf while Irvine took that tumble in Dallas. 

I surely hope the majority of football pitches are grass. I just find it weird go's athletes would want to play and fall on little bits of fake material. 

Dion Berisha leaves to Rot-Weiss Essen

Bought on a free transfer last summer to help improve the quality up top in Bayern II’s squad, the 21-year-old right winger has moved to 3. Liga club Rot-Weiss Essen for an undisclosed fee. This represents a good deal for everyone: Berisha gets to play at a higher level after a decent season with Bayern II and make space for the new superstar signing in Nestory Irankunda. Win win.

Iredale listed for tomorrow's friendly against Viborg as number 19, not 29 as originally reported. 

Ipswich sign Jacob Greaves to bolster defensive stock. Some competition for Burgess. They're going to be in or a big fight but it's so exciting see two Aussies there who'll get a decent amount of game time.

That's not a good sign for Burgess. A left sided CB. That said Greaves comes from the Championship too so maybe Burgess can win the starting spot. 

It's all for a big campaign. Not too concerning. Healthy competition. Got a few cups also and they may end up with a back 3 and Greaves may even be left full back on occasion.

Fairly accurate summary here with some updates needed. 

I hope Hrustic gets back to the Eredivisie. It's been a good league for him. 

That's been a very quiet topic of late. I wish our players would sort this stuff sooner. Clubs have already played many practice games and our blokes turn up underdone. 

Iredale not starting in final practice game. Bench not listed as yet. Just not enough time to know the tactics or have that fitness. There's a stream but subscription only. 

Great moves to Denmark but the flaw is leaving it too late you've got to wait a few weeks to fit in and you miss the season start.
