That's the rumour. Duncan will be interim keeper until Langerak returns. It's good business. We got a fee for Izzo. Duncan and Langerak will come on frees. We don't lose any quality as good as Izzo is, improve depth and probably make some money as well.

Thats great. Izzo was immense but that’s pretty fantastic next step.

Tolgay Arslan has now joined Sanfreece Hiroshima.
Seems he pulled the whole "family reasons" card to get out of his City contract a year early, so he could secure a contract in Japan.

don't recall 'family reasons" , anyhow maybe that's the story everyone agreed to

I hear even CFG have slashed their playing budget

City aren't too happy with this news. They definitely wanted him for this season. He had even started pre-season training with them.
Story is he wasn't happy that they were not going to extend his contract beyond next season at the same existing salary rate so he wanted out. He then told them he wanted to return to Germany for 'family reasons' and to be 'close to home' in order to get released from his contract.

According to Dutch reports, Adelaide will sign 19 year old winger Julian Kwaaitaal and loan him to FC Eindhoven.

I assume they want him to develop on loan in a lesser league before bringing him back.

Either City are dumb or they have a recourse here.

If it was that simple to get out of a contract everyone would do it.

Assuming this is the article

https://www.news.com.au/sport/football/exmelbourne-city-playmaker-tolgay-arslan-joins-japanese-club-sanfreece-hiroshima/news-story/e51d4bae8fbb5c1b4741e485e8608506

you didn't mention this

However, it’s believed City’s failure to fulfil its promise of offering him an extension to his contract – which wasn’t due to expire until next year – on the same terms as his existing deal, was a major reason for the A-League All-Stars representative’s departure.

No club makes a promise to extend a contract years in advance at the same salary rate. Especially not in a salary capped league. They might include auto-extension clauses, but that's not what it says in this case.

If you believe that OK

In any case he's now a lot closer to home assuming that's Europe, or even maybe his family is in Japan ?

'Cardiff City' hey? Alot of these guys think they are playing in some superior set up, although, they are better off playing in the Apl or even Npl in some cases like this.
Cardiff ffs.

Only benefit of Cardiff is guaranteed match time and the individual that shines often gets a big profile and becomes a target for better things. It's true Cardiff have been so dire the past few seasons.

I think this is perfectly fine. For whatever reason, our striker expats don't reach the same level of late as other positions. So even the spfl is a massive step up and puts him in contention for the roos depending on how other players do

Valentino Yuel signed for Nasaf Qarshi in Uzbekistan. Nasaf will be competing in the AFC Champions League 2 as well.

Reports in Korea are saying that WSW will sign CB Tae-Wook Jeong on loan from Jeonbuk. Apparently he was tipped to be a great prospect a few years back but has flopped badly.

That name (Tae-Wook Jeong) looks familiar. But can't pick out why. Might be just from Jeonbuk

Football transfer relevance so it's here.

It's his age but that's a bargain that Dortmund paid only 7m for Groß to Brighton. I find it bad that Brighton won't sell Undav for around 22m. He may not excel in the EPL. Take the money. Brighton away kit looks awesome BTW.
