+x+x+xI think Irankunda is really pushing for the Bayern match day squad. Definitely shortlisted at least. Kompany isn't one to dismiss such skills and like young flair at Burnley. I think it's worth persevering but a Bundesliga 2 loan would be more ideal. Why? He's much the same age as Kewell when he broke through at the Leeds. Whyte not aim for the top? Bayern have been linked with many names in attacking potions. Irankunda is so young so he's understandably not priority. The next 12 months would be best served in the second division. No chance. If he's in the first team squad that would be incredible. Even if he sat on the bench for 80% of the season he's doing pretty good so far so it's not out of the question

Looking at the Bayern team yesterday they started two other young wingers. Adding the regulars who've not featured yet means there are 9 registered wingers not including strikers. https://www.transfermarkt.de/fc-bayern-munchen/startseite/verein/27It's been a very nice start and I think Irankunda can and will make the bench. Kompany likes this young flare. However, they have a lot of others to satisfy with minutes.

If you get the opportunity you take it. When do they name the first team or finalise that? He's looking good for it

Should he not feature, he'll have the reserve team games on certain weekends. All rumours but links to 2-3 wingers to be signed and Coman, Gnabry, potentially going away.

Really excited about Nestory's progression so far he so far been opposite to what has happened when our next star goes to a big club gets thrown in the deep end and hooked at half time like Brilliante. He has come off the bench and scored the equaliser against a 4th div side... fans will get behind him now and I think he would be massive chance to get some mins off the bench in the league.

+xWhat's happenmed with Stametopolous to Motherwell?? Still have heard nothing, i wonder if it's fallen through Pretty sure its a done deal. This article from Scotland has the coach talking about him and trying to take expectations off after a loss to Kilmarnock in preseason. Stamatelopoulos was in the stands for that game. https://www.glasgowworld.com/sport/football/motherwell-fc/stuart-kettlewell-rips-motherwell-players-partick-thistle-draw-stamatelopoulos-transfer-update-4719766

Toure's goal for Randers. Great run, pace to beat the defence and tidy first time finish. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/d7Gnfz2bZyCDn3nU/?mibextid=oFDknk

moment around the 60min mark where his own player got in the way raised my eyebrow even more. Looks really promising and might put real pressure on iredale, duke and yengi sooner rather than later

+xJohn what are the chances of St Pauli staying up this season? They need to make a strong start to have any hope. Losing Härtel and their coach is very tough. They haven't bolstered their squad at all. Kiel may hold their own while I think Augsburg, Mainz, Bochum will be nearer the bottom. 15th will be a achievement.

Any reason why they haven't tried to improve the squad? Are they known for being frugal? I hope they defy expectations.

This tweet suggests that Irankunda will be playing a role with the Bayern first team this season so won’t be loaned out. Awesome news.

So it says they will be ready if there's a need, where do they play when there isnt a need for them?

goodness graciious
colby bishop (portsmouth striker) has a heart problem and will get surgery :( hope he is ok (forgetting the implications for yengi, a players health is obviously far more important)

Get well Colby. Disaster on pitch potentially averted there. Once clarity resumes, a big sporting chance for Yengi and they'll need to restock.

They've signed a fresh Welsh right back from Brentford. This is what bothers me. He's untested at professional level and good luck to him. You then have guys like Atkinson searching for a club. I never get how promoted clubs prefer absolutely raw signings compared to cheap or free experienced pros. Up top they're incredibly weak. Poor in goal. Midfield and defence is alright.
