+x+xFuck that off. Ipswich have loaned Kalvin Phillips. Not good for Luongo. Annoying but I guess he's technically still retired for NT purposes. Ipswich have to boost. No doubt about it. I just find the way Phillips has carried on the past few years isn't deserving of another career save.

🇮🇹 48 hours til start of new season
❌ Serie A has no TV rights in multiple HUGE markets, including; 🇮🇳 India (1.4bn ppl) 🇮🇩 Indonesia (275m) 🇦🇺 Australia (big 🇮🇹 population) ➕many more markets ❌ 🇬🇧 U.K only 2 games a week ➕ awful 🇺🇸 💰 TV deal
Came across this post. Not entirely sure of its accuracy but the author appears to have done their homework. Every summer there's something new and shitter about TV deals.
UK sky have done well with the EFL but pricing for it is probably high. German DAZN has raised prices by 75%. Don't worry, we get E Sports and stream battles instead of the EFL and some other sport.

Reading some speculation that Josh Nisbet's first game for Ross County could be against Rangers at Hampden Park - Sunday week.

I have Sunderland on Sunday night hopefully see nectar
If I can stay up big Harry is on midnight Sunday morning
Bayern play 4:45 am tomorrow but it's on Optus I hope I wake up to Nestor highlights
Think that's all the AAs on tv this week

I like Strain but he’s always injured. It’s getting annoying.

At his best he is like watching arzani at 19 with how much he looks a class above people around him. Probably should get some game time against bahrain

Would love someone to breakdown the streaming services needed to watch the AA leagues. I reckon it's ripe for someone like optus to pick up the AL and some minor Euro leagues and be a real home for football.

Optus has the DFB Pokal so will try to watch replays or at least highlights for Bayern and St Pauli.

Ipswich Town are working to ensure Sammie Szmodics and Kalvin Phillips are both registered by midday so that they're available for tomorrow's PL opener against Liverpool.
The former is a solid signing. Made his way up the EFL.

A kick in the guts really given he's been playing right through both promotions and this pre-season.

A kick in the guts really given he's been playing right through both promotions and this pre-season. The manager isn't a fool, however. He may not rush new signings right in for a game that is essentially a write off. Ipswich have a chance if they can hold on longer. We've got to remember this is Liverpool under a new manager. Luongo can do either. If he has a furious first 30 then Liverpool will be off balance and Ipswich will gain confidence. Conversely if Ipswich can hold on until 70, Luongo off the bench against a tiring team can also work wonders. I wonder if they'll play Greaves at left fullback with Burgess inside for more defensive cover and have Davies as a left winger but being a LWB allow decent defence too.

So excited for the lunch kick off tomorrow. No AA will be a dampener but to see Chaplin, who I've followed since he was a Portsmouth kid, is amazing to see him as an EPL player. Davis is also a workhorse. He and Doughty instead of Shaw and Trippier would've skinned the left flank for England. EPL opponents are generally tougher than Euro tournament opponents so I don't think they'd have been fazed.

Optus: FA cup EPL luongo Burgess and pepuion Paramount a league and Saudi league some preseason games Ten play national teams and Australia cup Bein: Italian league circati German league Irakunda championship Robertson, souttar, silvera, mcgree, Glover, Bennie and triantis Also have carbao cup and Spanish league also league one and league two Scottish league: strain, stama, nisbet, rowles and Devlin

What these companies do is buy all these cheap licences for shit no one wants and then reframe it as '1000s of hours of sport entertainment' or '15 different competitions' within the 15 you've got 6 cups with games every 8 weeks, 4 women's leagues and some B grade leagues you won't watch. They up the price when they obtain something valuable which is only replacing something else they lost.
