Is it a good thing or bad thing that circati has escaped the hype?

+xIs it a good thing or bad thing that circati has escaped the hype? Good he's somewhat less on the radar. He's got to do well at Parma for a while yet. Any big money links to big clubs, while warranted, have their way of flattening a player. Many American players over the years have done well while young and then they move to massive clubs and have big pride tags only for lacklustre national team performances. While a lot more complex than what I've said, Circati should play his career as the marathon rather than a sprint. A lot of early hype can lead to a deflating mid career.

+xGreat little bit of deception from mabil there. Really deserves a recall. That bit of experience with Irankunda also there is an appropriate balance.

Another player to keep an eye on as we follow Circati’s progress is Japan national team GK Zion Suzuki, who was actually linked with Man Utd in the off season but chose Parma as they would guarantee him game time in Serie A.
Suzuki was the official MOTM in the Milan game overnight. You’d imagine we’ll be seeing a lot of him against the Socceroos over the coming decade as he’s only just turned 22.

Here’s a topic that I don’t think has been discussed enough: Irankunda has been consistently played as a central striker in all of his appearances so far for both the Bayern first team in pre season, as well as his Bayern II matches.
I wonder if this is a short-term thing the club is trying out, or if they genuinely see him as a striker in the long-term.

Goodness he was awful at the Asian Cup. Seems to have had a bit of a resurgence.

+xMiller is basically a UFC fighter and can pass 5 metres. He should never be new the national team against just like concrete boot Stensness. This is especially due to the other options we have. RE: Stensness, if we’re being honest, Deng’s Socceroos performances have been absolute ass (respectfully). Stensness is also younger than Deng, and has only had 2 caps, so seems a bit harsh to write him off if the alternative being suggested is Deng. Regardless of Stensness vs Deng though, even an EPL bench player Burgess clears them both. Hopefully Burgess stays fit and we never have to find out who the 5th choice CB is.

The noise for Deng online mostly exists because he played for Victory. Some of their fans would have a national team made up of their players only.

Reminded me of Ghana keeper Kevin Kingston.

+xBoyle goal on HT. Positive form coming into international break. Sheffield United conceded but just one anti Souttar tweet. Will have to see highlights. Hibs forum saying Boyle was useless except for his goal. Seems to have lost his pace.

Just fantastic but I wish he'd cut out that celebration. Just begging to do an ACL in an over-abundance of joy.

Still no Francois for Wigan. AMB and Bilokapic stuck on bench. Watts with his regular mystery disappeance from squad after good form.

Boyle was great in his last game as a left forward. He's still got good football in him.

For what and even if, Boyle's pace is decreasing, he has made up for with positional awareness and tight pace movement. Albeit Palestine, that last link up goal breaking through their lines was great. I'd always pick Irankunda if it came down to the two but he's a good squad member. Mabil has been particularly good of late.
