Major League Soccer has suspended Nashville SC midfielder Patrick Yazbek for two matches for violating the league’s Non-Discrimination Policy in Saturday's match. He will also be required to participate in a "restorative practice program".

Roma draw Frankfurt, Spurs and AZ among others in Europa League. Surely Maty gets to play some of it.

Coman now staying at Bayern after all this stupid running around. I hope Kompany nudges Irankunda ahead because of the drama caused.

They're playing Freiburg 17:30 Sunday. Wouldn't be surprised if they said just get on a plane Friday night to get to Australia instead of a rush hassle. He's probably first reserve for the first team currently.

Started looking at flights from Zurich and Basel/Freiburg but it's a home game. 22:35 Emirates from Munich Sunday night will get Irankunda to BNE Tuesday morning if he is to make the squad for Sunday.
Arnold said he's looking forward to see everyone Monday morning, night and Tuesday morning. Did he add Tuesday night? Press conference notes.

The cost and stuffing around won't please club or Kompany. Fans saying his wage etc is wasteful when Irankunda and Tel offer a better future.

2nd week st pauli look the better team but are behind on the score sheet
St pauli are really good at varying their pace of theur ball movement. They can knock it around for a bit then suddenly the ball is pinging around lightening quick. But the last pass hasnt stuck

There are 3 types of promoted sides, ones who are so good at the start and win, ones who play a lot of ball but can't get the end product, those who get battered. St Pauli is the second one. There is something there but it's just the final ball. Costly losses and they'll need to start getting results.

Looking at the age of some of the players Brighton are using, there's minimal hope Peupion will be considered among that batch. There's so much more than just leaving a club. Good facilities, lifestyle, support network. He's got to find a place for senior football soon as he can't play reserves much longer.

I felt Metcalfe had nudge himself that bit higher in standard and stature last night. Very prominent and you can see the intensity and new manager coaching paying off. Just needs those scorer points.
Surely Hürzeler doesn't get him to Brighton in 12 months? I say this more as a lot of subs in the EPL come from nowhere off a season of Ligue 1 or Scandinavian football and Metcalfe is edging on 2 Bundesliga 2 and a full Bundesliga season.
