+x+xI wouldn't say I have an eye for these things but can offer my take. Triantis was excellent at breaking up play. I later read he had the most interceptions (12) and ball wins (31) of any player in the SPFL this season. He had 16 loose ball gains and 12 second ball wins. I thought his first touch could be heavy sometimes. A much better dribbler than I realised. Good at passing sideways and switching play. Not very successful with forward passes. Dominant from his position in the air. There was a lot of that in this game which would inflate his stats. I'd be interested how he'd go with the ball played on the ground more. And better ball movement. That game was so scrappy, it leant into his strengths. I can't wait to see how he goes against Rangers/Celtic. Thats crazy since he only played half a season. If he can ball win at championship level while being better than jedi on the ball he could be an interesting prospect That's the jump. Jedi did that at EPL level. I remember reading statistically he was one of the best in the world at intercepting from the big 5 leagues at one point. It's a great effort from Triantis but it's a big leap to Jedi's level. I can't wait to see how he continues developing because if he can do that role consiatently it could be massive for the NT. Traintis sitting in front of Souttar and Circati, Bos at LB could be a great defensive foundation.

Could also play bos in front of farrell against stronger opponents

Balard starting practice game against Schalke. Iredale bench in Danish cup against 6th tier opponent. They're leading 4:0.

Iredale got a goal in a 7-0 win. Mo Toure got a goal in a 10-0 win in the cup for Randers.

From a professional standpoint he's not the first to say it. Bosnich could have been best in the world if he had actually cared. Instead he flamed out.

Garang, Balard and Triantis met up in Cologne. That's nice. Garang with some conditioning or training 'injury'. Body not right in that sense. Always hindsight but had he played 2 seasons at CCM instead or just done the hard yards in a League 2 side, he probably be in a better condition. At the same time that half season at Volendam was decent. Water under a bridge now.

+xLiam Chipperfield posted pics of him playing for Switzerland - not sure what age group. Wasnt' there a mad rush to get him an australian passport before the u/23 Asian cup? I wonder what happened - upset he didnt get selected or problems getting the passport? He is definitely a prospect we need to fight for.

St Pauli with a Sunday game. Metcalfe with muscle issues and may miss out.
Bayern in Saturday evening game in Kiel. I doubt Irankunda will be included given the travel. Quiet weekend ahead I think.

Iredale on bench after all that travel. Sheffield United and Liege on tonight too but not expecting too much from our players.

Good signs with Souttar starting so soon after returning. O'Neill starting too. With the latter captain, it's also good to see they're seen as integral to the side.

Rowles starting devlin bench
Rowles was a real problem in the first half vs bahrain being way too conservative in build up. Improved in the second half and hopefully he mixes it up at club level
