Great stuff about young Watts, he's at a really good chance given he's come from their academy.
Hopefully it inspires other young Aussie players to do similar things in the future at their clubs.

+x+xCaleb Watts on for his Prem debut for Southampton vs Arsenal. 74th min with S-hamption 3-1 down. TWG site quick to put up a story about the game but no mention of Watts playing. Watch them instead put up 5 articles about Alex Robertson's 45 mins for Man City's u/23 team and a few articles about GISS academy sending some fool to a spanish 7th division club. Hahaha with the headline "meet the X player playing in.." In all seriousness though there is a reason fan's don't generally givea shit about Watts because we have no idea who he is and didn't follow his youth football journey as we have with other players like Arzani and Mcgree. He's a English not Australian footballer.

+xDeni Juric played a full match and scored against Loko Zagreb. Dodgy defending but a superb finish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuB4yb3P4iE 3:03

+xGreat news on Watts. Encouraged but wary of O'Neil and Lyden cases. Build on it! Herd and so on and so forth.

+x+x+xgood to see Karacic make his debut straight away. Keep getting game time in serie b and he'll surely get his shot for socceroos. Cleur also played a full game a couple days ago in a win. his team are now out of the relegation zone. Cleur was consistently our worst player for the olyroos so if he can play in the serie B, I'm not sure I rate the competition that highly lol Cleur was barely getting game time at the time of olympics needs to be given time. to see how he develops. I remember him being quite slow and making a lot of mistakes. He would have to improve a lot.

+xI thought Holland played below expectations when he returned to the A L. Yeah he flopped with us. He signed late in pre-season and was gone in January.

Great to see Alex Robertson playing 45 mins for City U23, and Karacic performing very well on debut for Brescia. Karacic should be called up ASAP.

+xI thought Holland played below expectations when he returned to the A L. That was yrs ago and for half a season. We need to stop judging him on that. Him and Ruka seem to be be suffering from that despite dominating in both their domestic leagues and in the Europa league for several yrs now

Dardai back coaching Hertha. Hopefully a good final 6 months for. Leckie. Dardai was coach when he signed. Preetz is gone so the club should be calmer.

Their form is incredibly topsy turvy. They've been losing nearly all their home games and winning most of the away ones. They'll beat a top team away one week, then get totally outclassed by Harogate at home. It's just so random. They almost always score some goals but can't defend to save their lives. Their midfield in particular seems very easy to play through. Their sole clean sheet this season came against lowly Grimsby.

Uncanny that Oldham haven't lost and have even beaten most of the top teams. I didn't realised they'd lost 11 as they seem to be undefeated every week I glance at the results.

Kewell’s Oldham beat Newport 3-2. It was their first home win in a long time and moves them up to 14th in league 2. They seem to be doing the Ange thing of having the best attack and the worst defence in the league. Only one team has scored more goals than them, but no one has conceded as many. Kewell seems to be doing the best he can with a highly imbalanced squad. They have just about accepted him over on their forums. He doesn’t get criticised much even when they lose. Nearly all the hatred and blame for their lowly position seems directed at their owner. They also never warmed to George Blackwood despite him scoring a couple of goals just before he got injured. He was just starting to show some potential, but picked up a “slight knock” in November and hasn’t been seen since. Now he’s always a few weeks away and no one is pining for his return.
