Didnt lose a duel good in build up and used as a set piece target. If i was gonna be critical id worry about his reading of aerial chips down the wing over his head

Great debut from farrell just need to be a touch sharper with his positioning either closing an attacker more tightly or hanging off a touch more

One negative is silvera is just not opening enough passing lanes. He was a bit quiet
Partly because the rb isnt that strong so they favoured the left flank a bit too much

+x+xNo Elder tonight. Marcus Neill with a goal in a 5-2 loss against Man City U18. That’s 4 goals in 5 games this season for Sunderland U18. Elder out for 3-4 games. FFS the international window curse for him. That's double figures easily already. He was a long shot but Behich is locked once again. Bos returns and Davidson popular with Popovic. Probably unlikely he Elder makes the squad if Bos and Farrell are fit.

Very aggressive defender and dangerous attacker. Stays injury free and he'll be a big star (by our standards). I can definitely see him at EPL level over the next couple of years.

+x+x+xLet's go back to what was a success for the socceroos against Peru and all through the world cup campaign.... Souttar and Rowles. Why Arnie changed up when it was working perfectly ill never know. It will be Rowles or Burgess. Rowles lost his spot because his distribution from the back was glacial and risk averse and it stymied our ball movement. I hope Triantis comes into the squad. Deng I'm less big on. Grant from sk might be another option Grant is playing for Tianjin in the CSL atm. It looks like he lost his starting spot in July and hasn't played since. He'd be a candidate for an AL return. Would be a good get for a team after a seasoned CB.

McGree completed 36/38 passes today. The most any forward player has done for us this season so far. Stats backing up the eye test of him making us tick all over the pitch.
