Trying not to put my two cents in then realised that this is a forum and all we do is put our two cents in... so here is what I think?

If you are going to play a silly joke where you pretend to be gay with somebody etc then expect people to run with that joke for a while even if you are over it.

Example:

The first date I went on with my ex-gf she wore a black t-shirt and jeans and i remember going to uni the next day and telling my mates, "everything went really well and she's pretty fucking hot, but i think she might be a goth; she wore black". Anyway she wasn't a goth, she just wore a black shirt that night. We ended up being together for two years. Do you want to know what all my mates called her for two years??? 'The goth'.

I never, in any way, pretended I was gay with s_f. We are mates, we were posting stuff relating to eachother etc on here, and people started the joke. And now it's got completely out of hand....

Nah, i was actually being serious. One of my closest mates is gay, and he actually came out to me, me being the only one he could trust. I know some of the shit he cops, and the fact remains, a jokes a joke, but once it goes too far, it's no longer nice.
