Collars (Y)

Isnt that virtually identical to last years kit?

Essentially, there are some subtle changes:
-Collared V
-Dual colour bands around sleeve cuffs
-Vertical colour band ends below collar rather than joining collar
-No purple band from shoulder to armpit
-Number removed from shorts
-Cut of shorts slightly different
-Separate dual colour bands on socks rather than solid purple band
-PGFC on socks

i like that collar but i'm not sure if it works with that stripe down the middle.
very surpised they kept that verticle stripe, maybe it should have been diagonal or even horizontal like sampdoria

Very on trend. Well in boys.

My initial feeling is I don't feel the stripe fits that kit, terminating below the V like that. It's very hard to make a vertical stripe work with that style of shirt. I think a horizontal band across the chest could be quite fetching, but may not work with the HAL and club badge locations.

Home kit looks good. Away ok, but that one on Burns looks a bit big for him.

The Away Kit is an absolute disappointment, I like most others thought that Macron would bring in some style to our kits and by staying with a newer version of the average at best away kits was a complete miss cue. I hope they are not expecting to sell many next season I will definately be keeping my money.

On the other hand the home kit has the typical safistication that Macron is known worldwide for and at last we will be the envy of alot of other a-league teams. will definately be grabbing one of these for my collection soon.

That collar on the home kit...why? Ruins it for me.

How can you possibly be getting bent out of shape because one stretch of the collar is purple.

And you Calves, the introduction to the Away Kit mentioned they were obliged by league regulations to keep the basic design this year and what they have changed required special dispensation. And what they have changed has been great improvements.

I have both kits on my to-buy list.

New polos are an outlandish degree of improvement over the old ones.

My only criticism is that the strips on the front should go all the way up.

I am wrapped with this shirt. I have the last 4 seasons shirts all signed and told myself I wouldn't get anymore :( and now this happens, they bring out a good shirt and will have to add it to my collection.

And I don't mind the away shirt as I never really had a problem with the old away shirts.

Don't like the lack of orange trim.

Do like the two-tone purple look.

Not sure about the asymmetrical collar.

You are right about the Orange. I would love to see more orange in the kit. But its a massive step in the right direction and hopefully we see another good kit from Macron next year.
