Having full time fitness staff has made a noticeable difference. We kept pressing right up till the final whistle, where as last year we looked knackered very early in most games. Think we will benefit even more when we get teams playing us here in the middle of summer.

Glory quiz of the day. Which season did Glory have their best unbeaten start and where did they finish? Which season did Glory have the best winning start and where did they finish? Not sure which Glory will be this season. I'm hoping for one and not the other (and no Begbie and Biscuitman it's not the one you think I'm thinking of  ). Pretty good application for the most part from the players. A lot to improve on, but Kenny has them playing a disciplined shape and has them pressing to win the ball very actively. Keogh continues his good form and delighted that Maclaren is showing a bit more (still panics a touch here and there, but better). \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ Top of the league in the A-League AND the W-League. \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ Edited by petszk: 20/10/2014 03:08:55 PM

 FFA website is still showing only 2 goals in yesterdays match (& an own goal to Donachie). FTR, I thought he should be credited the goal. But yes, after only 4 matches, he's already either equal 15th or equal 12th in Perth's list of goal scorers (since the start of the A-League).

You can't count FFA Cup goals against that list otherwise it would have to include the old A league pre-season cup games/goals as well.

Andy Keogh has surprisingly been very good not just with his goals but also with his movement off the ball playing as one of the two strikers. Great get by Perth.

Edited by hotrod: 21/10/2014 06:08:06 PM Clubs change names all the time, Manchester City wasn't known as Manchester City for 14 years of its existence. Changing a club name does not remove the history of the club. if that's the case than that's like saying Sydney United through out their history when they were known as Sydney Croatia.

biscuitman1871 wrote:Perth Glory Name Change Supporters wrote: How about telling us why you want to change the name first? We support a name that has more meaning to the Perth public, a name(and crest) that is better representative of the Perth public and yes a more "football" name, more info can be found on our page. Thank you.
