worst: being weak in the gym and not looking as good as 2 weeks ago. Better than I expected though.

Worst: My year is about to be ruined in just a little over 5 hours when I get my uni results. I have been terrified of this day for quite some time.

For yesterday (last night)

Worst: Party was a bit shite.
Best: Me and a couple of mates played darts, handball, badminton and boxing with oversized novelty gloves to pass the time and have a bit of a laugh.

Best/Worst: In under 12 hours I find out the results of 13 years worth of schooling, very nervous.
Best: Came home to a letter from the College of residence I applied to stating I had got a place provided I recieve an offer from the uni, have a few mates who also got in so it should be good if we all make it

Best: Good day today
Best: The back and forth between a mariners fan and the Shed which ended in fisticuffs.
Worst: Glory blowing another lead thanks to the refs.

worst: now im one of those people who woke up and got their ATAR score and scored 10 points lower than I expected.

Is your score still enough to get into what you wanted?

i dont need a score. thats part of the reason mine was so bad. still i thought i could wing my exams and beat 90% of people. Instead I could only beat 80% of people without trying. :'(
oh well i beat afro.

80% is pretty good. I'd be stoked with that if I didn't try.

But half my friends beat me. And im competitive as fuck.

Easier said than done. I dont need it. But I still would have liked to do better than the people who did try. Have my cake and eat it too ya know. Meh. Im over it now.

Best: Going into school today to collect year books and grad photo's, all the teachers gathered so keen to talk to you and really happy for you, catching up with the rest of the year level and finding out how they went was good too.
Best: Got a good enough ATAR to safely make my course

Worst: Finished runner up in three of my subjects for dux but the girl who beat me is a good friend and really deserving, she also ended up with 99 and a 50 for English

And lastly - Jay-Z can f#$% right off. Ruined one of my fav songs of all time. There was a reason why half the stadium decided not to go in and listen to him beforehand. This is Australia - we don't like your Yankee hip-hop and rap. It's bad enough that Triple-J plays it...

i disagree, i dont reckon he did a bad job at all and obviously it wasnt his decision to come in on the song, u2 would of asked him too, whinge about them if you thought it ruined the song.
I thought he was really good, was there for his whole set.

The reaction all around me suggests that it was not only myself who felt this way. The collective WTF was audible.

well i was towards the front of the mosh pit and everyone around me seemed to be getting into it and didn't mind it at all, so i guess it was different in different parts

Worst: Not having a car today.
Best: The feeling of accomplishment.
Worst: Sore feet from carrying around a 40kg bag for 15km and then 10kg back.

Best: Like my HSC results

Worst: The responses I think I will get from family members

Best: Just got an email from one of my lecturers. Turns out that in that course of over 100 people, I got the 4th highest mark out of anyone and the 3rd best exam result.
Best: Jets game tonight.
Worst: Nothing yet.

Best: Mates house was awesome. Played a lot of cricket and had an awesome swim in the pool and had an epic game of pool gridiron.
Worst: One of the coolest teachers at school is leaving because his wife got a job in Singapore. :(

Great game that :D , lots of fun at a public pool too.

Yeah, its so fun. It's more even in the pool because speed isn't as much of a factor. And the opposition can't really try and get around you, they have to make contact. So fun.

Pool sports are the best. Any type of footy is good, as is water polo with a tennis ball :lol:
