Worst: The amount of people there, about 70 all up. And at least 50 of them were really drunk by 9.30 (it started at 7).

Worst: Went to bed with my alarm set to wake me up for Arsenal/Swansea, wake up at 5:00 in the morning having missed the match to find that not only has my alarm clocked moved itself from it's position tucked between my pillows right next to my ear to a metre away on my bedside table but the alarm has also been turned off. Wtf? Either someone's fucking with, my alarm is actually a living thing with legs and a mind of it's own, or I'm going mad. :?

Worst: My anti-inflammatories making me so drowsy, that I nearly fell asleep at my desk.
Worst: My back pain is getting worse, despite the anti-inflammatories.

Best thing: I got an A on my exam today..

Worst thing: I have one more class to go to and i'm really tired :(

Best: New medication seems to be making my back pain recede.
Worst: Stomach bug waking me up multiple times last night and made work difficult for the first half of today.

That's good about your back :) Are you still going to get it checked out though? Just to find out what's causing the pain?

Thanks. But by no means am I out of the woods yet, it's just that sitting down at work today wasn't as irritable/painful as it has previously been.

I still have another 23 tablets of medication left, if I still feel pain after that then I will definitely see the specialist. If I'm not ok to play this season, I will probably cry and become depressed.

I reckon you should see the specialist as soon as possible. Even if it's not painful, the problem could still be there. Hopefully it'll be nothing major, and you'll be able to fix it and play fine :)
I know what you mean about playing though, there's not much greater than the feeling of just being able to play football, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make this season either.

Yeah good point. I should have a fair indication about half way through the medication as to whether it's working for me or not.

I will be absolutely devastated if I can't play this year, cos I'm supposed to be playing for last year's minor premiers.
