It supposedly makes it less 'derogatory' although it will eventually become the same as an STD. I think infection is more close to what they actually are, rather than a disease.

What cheeses me off is when you buy a new FM game and when you load it for the first time it fails because it needs 16 patches or they introduce "Steam"and you spend the entire day following instructions to make it work. When you finally get it to work, your desire to play the game goes out the window.
