Quote:Evan Berger should never start for Victory. He's too small and gets muscled off the ball way too easily. One of the reasons Robbie Kruse should never start.

Berger is short and skinny. He gets charged off the ball too much. He's good as a winger, but not first choice. Ditto Kruse.

Whats rediculous is that the most minor and insignificant AFL pre season stories still take up more pages than football atm, Garry Abblett breaking up with his girl friend was front page a few weeks ago

Melbourne could have nothing to play for come KO time anyway. If Gold Coast fail to win this week and next week then Melbourne will have sealed the double chance for coming second and it will be down to Sydney to win to join them. And when you've got someone like Merrick with no personality in charge you know he doesn't care about hurting rivals and will probably rest players.

No fucking way Merrick will rest players with the Premiership, and a spot in the ACL, on the line. #-o
