Pretty sure that's illegal if he sacks her, if he does then she's probably right to have broken up with him, and then she can take him to court.

Taking someone to court takes time and money, either it wouldnt be worth her while fighting it in court or itll be a pain in the arse.

I didn't do legal studies in year 11/12, but sacking someone because they broke up with you, i'm fairly sure that's gotta come under the unfair dismissal laws. Sure, you'd probably leave the job anyway, but i can't see you being allowed to sack a boyfriend/girlfriend on the basis that they had just broken up with you.

If he's smart, that's not what he'd be sacking her for. He'd come up with some excuse. And who knows, maybe she's really shit at what she does, and the only reason she wasn't sacked before WAS because he was her Boyfriend.
