I was talking to my best mate (SFC fan) about how they were relaying the pitch at Etihad for the Grand Final and they wouldnt let me use that "sokha" term cos its actually called relaying the oval. Also when we talk about North and South End they expect me to refer to them as Locket and Coventry (The name of the north and south ends of Etihad) even though the term refers to the groups name that was established in another stadium

There's another completely inappropriate commend to go with that.

WGMG: A lot of people casting shadows over Sydney's great triumph this season. Mainly bias twats who can't for once admit they were beaten, and stop making ridiculous excuses and accusations. Sydney had a wonder year, winning the double. Compare that to last seasons misery. I'd say that's a fair fucking achievement wouldn't you?

Yeah, but it would be a far better achievement if Frank Lowy would sell his stake in the club and you did it again.
A new coach works wonders.

You can't expect fans of rival clubs to just accept your victory when the controlling shareholder in the club is also the chairman of the governing body.
There's a reason such positions are banned in most european and south american leagues.

I think he owns a small part still, but he's not the controlling shareholder.

He used to own 45% of the club, he sold 10%. He still holds the controlling stake.

David Traktovenko and Paul Ramsay are the major shareholders in the club with 74% combined.

Without the bias I don't think that Sydney FC was the best team in Australia this year, nor do I think Melbourne was better but I think in the two trophy winning games Melbourne were unlucky to lose on the day with injuries and tbh it did seem like the ref was favouring Sydney on Saturday but besides that we had more chances to win the Grand Final than Sydney did and we blew it where as Sydney didn't so they deserve it more than us for that reason but I do think we were very unlucky.

My mistake, Lowy used to hold 70% of the club. Traktovenko bought a 'large portion' of taht off him.
Regardless, Lowy should not have ANY stake in the club, and never should have.

Both the games this season came down to the 1 game. On the first occasion Sydney were the better team and fully deserved the premiership. However if we beat Gold Coast 2 weeks prior it could of been so much different, or if Sydney drew against Glory for that matter. But in the Grand Final I beleive we were both even. Up until the 80th minute Sydney had the better of us, but after that we were incredible. The noise from the Melbourne fans at that point was something I have never heard before. We had 2 great chances to go 2-1 up, with Leijer heading over the bar and Behich missing a sitter. But, we couldn't capatlise and Sydney eventually won on penalties. That's it, it's all over nothing is going to change that.......
