The idea of bread is that I don't have to use any kind of stabbing implements...because I can't be trusted with them, I do not want to drop things everywhere because you can't be fucked giving me a second slice of bread.

This. It's what put me off so much last years version. The bitch that won put out a dish that was half cooked. But she got through to the final coz she cried and it looked good. Meanwhile, the only person who actually looked like a chef, got knocked out coz he cooked tasty food, that apparently wouldn't look good on a magazine cover. GTFO.

It's the whole "lifestyle" thing...they present this foot like that because the tv chefs do, because that's how people want to eat out because nobody has the time to bake the tomatoes and get to mashing them using nothing but your elbows so they're the perfect consistency to match the fried rabbits legs that you cooked earlier in the day using an acetylene torch on a tin roof.

I don't care what the hell it looks like as long as it tastes better than army food/id's.

My mates currently in training down in Kapooka and he says the MREs arn't too bad. The ones that are imported from the U.S are a bit average, but the MREs made in Australia are almost as good as homecooked food.

And when your on base, all the foods fresh. So obviously your a bit behind.

Did you watch the game? More precisely, the second quarter? Absolute rubbish from the umpires, ignoring basic free kicks in favour of Brisbane and giving them for far less at the other end.

I have never seen a quarter where referees were so obviously biased towards a team in all my years of watching the AFL. I'm not saying it would have affected the outcome, because we were quite clearly rubbish too for most of the match, but it was beyond a joke for that entire quarter. I worry for the state of the AFL if punters feel like they've paid to see a match that the umpires have already decided on the outcome of.

Is there any specific event you can single out or are you just spouting crap?
