half an hour is that all.....try being stuck on a V/Line train till 4am out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere because someone decided to play chicken with a train at midnight.

I've had that one before, but it was at 9am. Fucking peak hour, I've been out working all night, fairly drunk from knock-off drinks, didn't get home until 2pm.

The difference is, Metro can't do anything about that one. Dumb fucks will always throw themselves in front of trains. They CAN service their fucking fleet so it doesn't break down ad infinitum.

WGMG: The timing at the intershool carnival today. They had an official timing thing, one which starts when the gun is fired and stops when the first person crosses the line. My friend thought she smashed her pb for the 100M by ages. Turns out the timing stuffed up, and she didn't beat i9t after all. Felt so bad for her.
