+1:lol: What happened?

To cut a long story short, I failed in about the first 30 seconds. I "obstructed the crash avoidance space" of an oncoming car but I'm 99% sure there was about 4 seconds between me and him. AND he was in the other lane. I'll put it into a picture...

Okay picture didn't work.

Oh well. First go. But everyone I know has passed first off! Even the stupid people.

Yeah I failed my first go after coming up to the first set of lights, had like a fraction of the front wheel over the line and the cunt failed me:lol:

Failed the next two times and haven't gone back yet waiting for it to die down a bit after what I pulled on my 3rd go:lol: He made the mistake of telling me when I failed so I was driving like a maniac for the rest of the time, the guy looked like he had shit himself when we got back:lol:

Well I just booked another one for a few weeks from now. :) I'll just be super careful. But your story has just made me feel WAYYYY better. They're so pedantic about stuff like that! I mean, in a real driving situation, being like a tiny bit over the line won't cause an accident. Idiots.

It's just so retarded. They expect you to have at least space of 2 car lengths at traffic lights when waiting. 2 car lengths ffs, it's just a load of shit. I'm just unlucky that my local RTA has the highest percentage of first time failures in NSW.

I just don't care anymore:lol: if I need to get somewhere I'll drive there:lol:

Yeah see we can't get our full licence until we're 19 at the very least.

Far out! I assume from trips to Australia that P is similar to a Restricted licence in NZ, and that L is akin to Learners license in NZ.

It goes like this:

Learners - Can get it as soon as you turn 16 and have to have them for at least a year while doing 120 hours of logged practice, once done that then you can go for Red P's

Red P's(Provisional 1) - Can go for them once 17. Have to pass a driving test and have the Red P's for a year

Green P's(Provisional 2) - Can go for them after 12 months of Red P's and have to have your Greens for 2 years after which you can go for your full licence.

That's for NSW at least.

Oh i see. In NZ:

Learners = Get it at 15, theory test and once you have it you can only drive at a maximum of 70kph, with L plates and accompanied by someone who has had their full for two years.

Restricted = Need learners for 6 months, can drive alone between 5am and 10pm and can't carry passengers unless accompanied by the full-licenced driver as mentioned before.

Full = Can get it after having Restricted for at least 12 months (or 6 if you do a defensive driving course) and that's just a normal full licence. One you have had it for two years you can accompany those on restricted and learners.

There's heaps of other restrictions though which is shit.

For Learners, you can't drive over 80kph and have to be accompanied by someone with their full licence.

For Red P's you can't drive over 90kph, can't have more than 1 passenger between 11pm(I think) and 5am and have to have a BAC of 0.00

For Green P's you can't drive over 100kph and have to have a BAC of 0.00. I think that's it for Green P's not sure.

is BAC blood alcohol? I know in NZ it changes when you turn 20 for blood alcohol. Not sure the levels though, I don't drive after more than two which I know is well under the level hence the 'two drinks max' campaign here.

Yeah it's blood alcohol. I'm just not sure if on your Green P's it's 0.00 or 0.02. I've read both in places, it's annoying

WAGMG: The fact that 442 does not have an IQ test that you must pass to register as a member here. Seriously, if you added up some of those idiots' IQ levels, you'd be doing well to get to double figures.

WGMG: People who all they talk about is how Justin Beiber is gay and a faggot. In my year alone i have kids going on about how hes a fag, and spending all their time hating him. In a way its actually sadder than girls that faint when seeing him.
Don't get me wrong im not a fan of him, but i dont hate him, in fact its actually good on him that he worked very hard on his musical talent, and actually got himself out there, instead of trolls who have no life, no talents and just spend their time hating him.
