Can tell that nobody in this thread has used the Auckland train system. The electrification of the Auckland train lines has started recently, meaning that in a few months, the diesel engines will be replaced with electic engines.

Because the last thing you want is Sydney trains. The amount of Tangara trains around is frightening.

and then you've got the old fleet which is probably around 30-40years old still going around

Funnily enough I actually rather the trains that came before the Tangara, more comfortable. The seats in the Tangara are just pathetic:lol:

Of course the only place you regularly see Tangara's is in the Western Suburbs:lol:

yeah you would have been on the Millenium Trains or the ones after that, which are few and far between.

that is true, seem's abit of a coincedence that the only millenium train that goes through the western suburbs or inner west line is going to the northshore line
